Her Untold Story

Chapter 4

I change into Loose red pants with black stripes on the outside of the legs. A tight red long sleeve bodysuit with what I'm assuming is the Hydra symbol on the right shoulder.

"Green button, by the door." I stand-up after putting on black combat boot and go to the door.

After pressing the green button, not even a minute goes by and I hear a knock, "Come in?" I question - I clicked the button, right?

I walk out after the door swings open to four agents. Two walk in front of me and two walk behind. They then bring me into a room with two males and one more female.

The female says as I enter, "Welcome! Ready to start training?"

One guy next to her says, "Introduce yourself why don't you. I'm Spencer, this is Daniel and Ashley." He introduced everyone.

"You must be Penelope." Ashley puts her hand out for me to shake.

Now that I think about it, I have no memory of what my name was, then hearing Penelope, it sounded right, "Yup, that's me."

"Can we start training now that your precious introductions are out of the way?" Ashley glares at Spencer.

For what feels like a couple hours, we do some basic marshal arts training on bags the on each other. I was pretty shocked on how much I already know. Ashley and Spencer are training together while Daniel and I are on the bags.

"You're pretty good!" Daniel looks over and smirks, then continues to kick the bag.

"Thanks," I smile, "I'm shocking myself, honestly." Then I also continue to kick my bag.

"Good." He holds his bag still, "You can only get better."

I also hold my bag still, and before I could say anything, Boss comes in.

"How's the training going?" He walks into the center of the room.

"Great, Boss!" Spencer walks over to him, "Penelope is kicking ass!"

The rest of us come over and Boss lets out, "Good! We have some on the field work to do so she'll go with." He looks at me, then motions away from the group.

"Is there something you need?" I follow him as we walk away from the group.

"You'll be working with that man with the metal arm. Both of you need to kill, you're going after assassins' that have killed over 50 people, and counting. You need to kill." He explains.

"Man with the metal arm, and kill the assassins'." I repeat back to him.

"To you he is call the winter soldier. To him, you are the Alley Cat." He said, "Names can't be known if you're working cases together."

"Winter Soldier." I nod, "Got it."

About a day or two goes by and me and the Winter Soldier are getting prepared to leave.

Winter Soldier starts with Captain America, as assassin who they froze for 70 years to keep for the purpose of experience. Black widow, a Russian assassin who they gained by kidnapping. I was told to go after SHEILD undercover. They've been trying to take over since the beginning.

"Winter Soldier got Cap and Black Widow." I hear Boss in my ear piece.

"SHEILD is good from what I can tell." I respond, quietly.

"Good, his arm needs some repairing." He sighs, "He'll be with you if anything happens."

"Appreciate it boss." I confirm that I am staying where I am until I need to move.

A couple of hours go by, "Alley cat, there's been some issues, enemy-"

"Steve is over the intercom." I cut him off.

"Go and group up, now." He says, fast.

"On it." I run, summersault, jump, duck, and kill until I'm with more Hydra agents, Black Widow had attacked and we had gone to another group of Hydra agents.

On the way, "Alley cat, its Winter Soldier, Cap is close by."

I turn to my left and I see the back of his uniform, "Got him."

I run and jump onto his back, pulling him into the ground by his neck. He jumped up and threw his shield at me. I summersault and dodge the shield. He jumps over me and pulls the shield out of the wall it collided with.

"Gotta work on that aim- Cap." I stand up and point the gun that was in my belt at him.

He holds his shield up to cover his body and he makes brief eye contact over the shield, "Charlotte?"

"Wow." I chuckle, "Delusional too."

I start shooting at his shield then I aim for below, at his legs.

"Cap cant stand now can he?" I hit his shin and he falls to the ground.

He looks me straight in the eye and I start pointing my gun down. Something about that look in his eye seems familiar to me.

"You recognize me." He smiles.

"You're Captain America." I chuckle, "Everyone knows you." I struggle to get the words out. Like something in the back of my head kept saying that I knew him.

I pounce at his feet as he stands back up, causing him to fall right back down.

He throws his shield at my feel, I jump on it as a reaction and it skids back a few feet.

"Charlotte." He says catching his breath.

'Charlotte.' The name repeats in my mind, echoing over and over again.

"How do you know my name." Unknowingly escapes my mouth. "Wait, that's not my name." I take back, felt like I was having an argument with myself.

"Charlotte Rodgers." He slowly comes closer to me, lowering his arms.

My mind goes blank, almost like it's restarting, "Steve Rodgers."

"You're remembering." He smiles.

I put my gun up, making contact with his chest. A blank expression on my face. My head has no thoughts, blank, black, empty space, "Bucky."

"He's being controlled by Hydra, like you." Steve puts his hands on my arms and lowers the gun.

Visions of Steve come flashing into my head, then Bucky, and Peggy. Then being kidnapped, the chair, shocking, the tears and the pain. My mind is full of painful memories. I drop the gun and breakdown in tears.

"Char." Steve holds me into a hug while I cry.

"Steve." His name escapes my mouth while I'm crying.

"Alley cat?" I hear in my ear piece.

"Shit." I pull the ear piece out. "Hydra." I look Steve in the eyes, puffy and red.

"You're coming with me." Steve stands up, holding onto his ear he says, "Hydra got my sister. I just got her back. Someone come and get her, Sam?"

"Falcon?" I look at him.

"Yeah, you're coming back with us." He wipes away the remaining tears on my face, "No more Hydra."
