The walls had fallen, and mankind was now free of the imposing threat. The scouting legion was first to go out and create settlements for people outside of the walls. It was also during this time that levi married the woman he loved and they had settled near some ruins of one of the civilizations from before the Titans. Hanji called the area Italy according to her research.

Levi had retired from military but helped with building new settlements so he was gone a bit of the time. This time he had only been away for a few days fortunately but he still missed Hanji during that time. He rode up to their small cottage but he knew she would be in the lab they built next to the house for her to work in. After taking care of his horse he walked into the laboratory. It was messy but he knew not to clean it and let Hanji do as she wished in the lab. The house was his clean space that he could keep up in an orderly fashion. "Hanji are you in here?"

She was working as always , she had no purpose as before , when she was making all the experiments to defeat the titans, this time she was workibg to satisfy her continuous curiosity . She heard the coice of the beloced male and she walked to where I came from . Her hair was messy and she was having a few black areas on her body where she was dirty of some smoke powder. Hanji smiled "oooh , you are back , Rivaille , ne.ne ,you want to see what experiments I did??aah, I know you want , come come "she said with her usual dumb smile which made Levi wrink his nose "tch shitty glasses did you even shower at all while I was gone?" He reluctantly followed her to see what's he was workin on . Hanji was trying to work more on medicine now , she was working on vaccines and ustensils that may help peole get a better health

"A stethoscope , Levi .. and ..I had no time for the shower oops"
Levi looked at it curiously. "How does it work?..... And we are changing that in a bit. You are showering. Did you eat while I was gone?" He looked at her with a raised eyebrow before opening his satchel and pulling out an old book. "I found this for you. I figured you would like it. It is a book about history before the Titans.
Hanji was looking at the book.amazed "Aaah , its really history ! AAAAAAAHHHH "she was checking some information on the book "so interesting "she said and pit it aside holding the stethoscope and puts in in his ear while the other tip was touching her chest . He could now her breathing and heartbeating faster than usually since she was excited about her new invention . She totally avoided the questions about eating since she hasnt done it properly.
Levi knew she was avoiding his question which earned a scowl but he couldn't hold it for long at te sound of her heartbeat. He gave her one of his rare smiles and embraced her. "This will definitely be helpful... But so would a bath and food so I'm going to go get your bath drawn."
She smiled at him "aah, when I thought this was going to totally save me from them"she said chuckling and walking to with him to the bathroom where he had prepared her warm to hot bath .
Levi rolled his eyes. "I'm be going to let my shitty glasses die from her own stink. I still plan on letting erwin be the first one of us to die. I don't need you ruining that." He took her glasses off and placed them on the counter to clean for her while she was in the bath.
Hanji was chuckling at his words and closed her eyes so the soap wont get in . She was calmly listening to his words . "Ooh , and when I thought that my husband has become a peaceful person , he was having such a bad hearted plan. Levi stared at her "tch, not really. i just don't want to see humanity's smartest to die from her own stupidity…. shitty glasses." he went to work on scrubbing her hair trying to get it clean and fresh smelling. after he decided he did a good enough job, he moved on to washing her back.Hanji was chuckling at him "hey Levi , lets take a bath together "she said chuckling and pull.his hands so he comes closer which made him Smirk and lean in with a shit of tease in his voice " and why would i do that ? " He asked and his fingers ran through her hair . " Because your sweet wife is asking you for this " She said and chuckled keeping her eyes shut when Levi kissed her cheek " fine..i'll join you this time " He said and quickly undressed placing his clothes on the nearby chair and then got into the bathtup with the brunette . Hanji was trying to wipe her eyes of soap so she could see the man before her and she was moving her hands arounds for a towel , she felt vulnerable with her eyes shut . Even if she couldnt see clearly without glasses as well , it was better than with her eyes shut. When she wasn't wearing her glasses , Hanji could at least spot some shadows and a few colors by which she can spot the people around her.Levi moved and wiped the soap from her face and took advantage of her lack of sight and he pulled her in a kiss while her eyes were still shut.
