Easter

***time skip 1 year***

RILEY'S POV

I'm 18 years old now. I graduated a few weeks ago. I decided to not go to college and instead keep on touring with my family. Chris can't decide. I can tell she really wants to go to college. She's a fantastic artist and she really wants to master in the arts.

Speaking of Chris, me and her are like two peas in a pod. She's so beautiful and I wanna spend the rest of my life with her. Michael, Remi, Ellie and Aiden have grown so much. Remi and Aiden are 12 months, Michael is 3 and Ellie is 4. Ellie won't be taking classes until she's six. Instead, mom, Rydel and Ellington are teaching All of them everything they need to know when their little. I've taken up teaching Reghan how to read and write. She's picking it up pretty fast.

"Wiley, wake up, it's Easter!" Michael said while shaking me awake. I saw Michael, Ellie, Remi and Aiden sitting on my bed all dressed with bunny ear headbands and they had their baskets in their hands. They were adorable! Everyone in my family and Ellington, Savannah and Allison were there. Allison moved into Rikers room and Rocky moved into the spare bedroom. Ryvannah got an apartment together. But they all came here to do the egg hunt. All the little kids came and slept over here last night.

I got out my phone and took a picture with Chris, Reghan, Michael, Remi, Aiden and Ellie. Then I got one with me in it (we were all wearing bunny ears) then I took a picture with the older people.

Michael is the kind of guy that gets so excited about stuff that he slurs his words and he just loves to hold people's hands. Ellie is very affectionate, she loves to give people hugs and hold their hands and cuddle with them. Allison is teaching Remi how to dance and Riker is teaching Aiden how to play sports.

We went into the living room and I spotted alot of eggs. Since me and Chris were 18 and Reghan is 20, we just helped them search for eggs. All the rest of them sat down on the couch and videotaped us. I don't know why but I have a special bond with Michael so I helped him while Reghan helped Remi and Aiden and Chris helped Ellie. Ellie walked around with Elly in her basket.

"Oh, I see one Mikey!" I said excitedly. "Ooh, Where? Where?" He yelled. "I can't tell you, you have to look for it". "You're getting closer!" I encouraged him. Just then he was underneath it. "Look up Mikey!" He saw it and laughed. "Ha, silly Easter Bunny put it in the wight" he said pointing to the chandelier. I got it out for him and put it in his basket.

That's it. They found all 100 Easter eggs. We put them in one big basket and shared it out between them all. Remi and Aiden didnt get any chocolate but we got them some gummies that melt in your mouth. They seemed to like those. Michael seemed excited to be eating his first chocolate. "Mmm, mommy this is good!" He said and ran into Savannahs arms.

Michael decided to eat half of his chocolates and then he threw up on the floor. Then he felt sick for the rest of the day so he had to go home. We watched the boys play their video game while Ellie sat on my lap until Rydel came in.

"Boys, turn off that violent video game around Ellie!" She yelled. Riker, Ross and Ell were playing. Rocky was sitting there smiling at his phone probably texting Cameron. Hopefully he'll come to the restaurant for our Easter supper. There will be approximately 30-40 people there.

Now it was time for the R5 Easter hunt. Me, Chris and Reghan chose who to help with the egg hunt and mom and Allison helped the other two. I chose Riker, Reghan chose Ellington, Allison chose Ross, Chris chose Rydel and mom chose Rocky. It was time to begin the egg hunt and I already spotted one.

In the pool. "Oh come on!" I yelled. Ellie started laughing. It was morning and I had to jump into a freezing pool. I ran into my room and got out my blue fringe bikini. I ran outside and jumped into the cold water and got the the Easter egg. I hopped out of the pool and ran towards Chris.

"No!" She laughed as she ran away from me. But she tripped and I gave her a big hug. I grabbed her hand and pulled her up. I saw Riker behind me giving her a death glare. That's just because he's so protective of me. But I think he forgets that I'm 18 sometimes. I pulled her into another hug and pulled back whilst my arms were still around her neck and gave her a kiss.

We started on the egg hunt again. I found a few on the ground and a couple I had to climb up a tree. I kept searching but I didn't know where they could be.

Oh! The forgotten tree house. No one ever goes in there anymore. I climbed up into it and.. Jackpot! 5 eggs! I put them in my basket and ran over to Riker and put them in his basket. The Easter egg hunt ended about an hour after with the scores:

Ross: 37

Mom called us in for breakfast. We had chocolate chip pancakes. Ellie loves them. I got to feed Remi too.

I went upstairs and changed out of my bathing suit and into my special spring outfit, a pretty crop top with some jean shorts. Next up, we were gonna play our favourite game to play outside at home: hunger games with water guns. It was this fun game we invented when we were younger. We would always play 2 teams with 3 players but now we can play 2 teams with 4 players.

I went outside where we always meet in the backyard and I screamed.
