I was on a plane to Oakland, with Val. You see, Roshon had to cover for me at my tour rehearsal. And the paparazzi was jut eating this up, the two co-stars on a plane to Oakland.
Val was asleep and I managing my schedule for this week. It was a pretty easy week, except that I had an appearance the night before the show, no big deal though.
We finally landed, and as we worked our way to the exit, we were swarmed by paparazzi.
We ignored the questions and made our way to the car our managers sent. I made my way to the drivers side and Val raised his eyebrows.
"Babe, you were up the whole time on the plane, you're not driving." he said while guiding me to the passenger side. we got in and buckled up, and I drifted off to sleep.I don't know how long I was out, but we were finally at the storage place. I looked at my phone to find the locker number and combination.
We walked up the stairs and found it. I opened the door and a small box was there with some of my trophies from past competitions.
"Okay, let's go!" I said, and we made our way back to the airport.
--------next morning 6:30 amMy alarm rang and I groaned, clearly not ready for rehearsals. After sitting for five minutes, I sat up and got ready. I threw on some sweats and I pulled on a shirt, Val's shirt, and converse. I brushed my hair and pulled on a snapback. I grabbed my keys and I started towards the studio.
(Skip car trip)
I walked in and was greeted by a shirtless Val, and let's just say, damn.
"Hey Z, what's up?" He said while hugging me.
"Nothing much." I whispered back.
We separated and sat down.
"So this week, we're doing the most memorable year or years of our life. So what year, Z?"
"The most memorable year of my life is 2013..."
"And why is it so memorable?"
"Because it's the year I met you..." I said.
"Wow, that's, well yeah, that's what I would say, too." Val whispered, getting emotional.
"Give me a moment." Val walked out, probably to the lobby.
I followed, finding him in a closet. I wrapped my arms around him and we stood there, just in each others arms. Val finally composed himself and whispered, "You're my medication, you keep me sane."
We walked back to his studio and discussed what song to dance to.
"We should do Life Support by Sam Smith, no?" Val suggested.
"I've never heard that song before." I said while pulling out my phone.
I search the song and played it.
"Wow Val, it's a beautiful song, we should do it." I said, not realizing the position we were in. I was sitting in his lap, his arms around my waist.
"You are the most beautiful, creative, and intelligent woman I have met in my life." Val whispered, just loud enough for the unknown all access camera to pick up.
"Val, we have to start..." I giggled, not accually wanting to get up.
"No, I refuse to let you go, you've been captured." He held on tighter and I just laid there.
"Huh, guess we just have to lay here forever." I said and relaxed, then I felt myself being picked up.
"We have to practice babe." Val said, I planted my feet on the ground. Val started to think out steps and in about an hour we had a full routine. While Val was finishing up, I checked my Instagram to see a picture of my parents, I missed them so much. If only I didn't screw up.
-----two hours later
We were finishing up practice and I was practically dead. Karina stepped in and told us they were going to lunch, we agreed to go.
"Z, babe, we gotta go..." Val said as he helped me up off the floor, we walked to his car and headed to Taco Bell.
When we got there, Roshon wasn't with Karina.
"Karina, where's Roshon?" I asked.
Maks interuppted and said, "He went out to eat with his girlfriend, sorry Z."
I was covered with thoughts, thoughts that I couldn't handle. Then there was darkness.
