Have you ever wondered why Jake knew Sunghoon was in his apartment? Well....

Jake's POV

Okay I admit that I spend too much time in my phone but I'm just talking to my friend from Australia and he decided to visit me so I always talk to him and y'know have fun. I thought Sunghoon was fine with it since he's not complaining.

When Jay said it's Sunghoon's birthday, I started crying. I really forgot his birthday. My boyfriend's birthday. I remember that he put a lot of effort during my birthday so it hurts realizing I did nothing for his.

NOTHING!

I did nothing during his birthday. I felt bad for him. I'm his boyfriend and I forgot his own birthday. I'm hating myself for this. I realized I always focus on my phone because I forgot it.

I ran after him and didn't have an idea where to find him but he's probably at the amusement park having fun by himself. He wants to cheer up himself probably because he's hurt. I hope he's there.

I ran and ran since I have no one to ride to. I then bumped into a girl in her 40's. Shehave somegroceries with her and she dropped it because of me. Great, a lot of sin in one day. "I'm sorry ma'am, let me help you." I accidentally spoke in English.

"It's fine Jake. And please help me." The woman spoke in English too. "You know me?" I asked her. I was shocked. She knows me? How? Why? I haven't seen this woman in my whole life. It's the first time I've ever seen her I think.

"Of course I know you. I knew you since you were a kid. I haven't seen you again until now. I recognized it was you by that accent of yours." She said. I was like "What?! How?"

The woman just laughed at me. "I'll talk to you at the bench over there. But help me put these groceries in my car first." She said and I followed her.

After we put her groceries in her trunk, we sat on the bench outside the entrance of the amusement park. I know I should be finding Sunghoon inside but, I also feel that I know this lady, I just can't remember her.

"So can you tell me how did you know me?" I asked faster because I'm really curious how. "Back in the days, I work in the mall, specifically at the kids playground. One day, I noticed two kids kinda talking and arguing. I thought that they needed my help so I went closer to them and asked what's happening."

"A kid named Jake said that he bumped to a kid named Sunghoon and he wants to say sorry to him but they can't understand each other. You're that Jake kid right?" She said and asked.

So she was the woman that helped us to understand each other. She's the one who helped us to be friends, without her, I couldn't have been friends with Sunghoon. She's a big help to us, it's like I owe her much.

"So you're the girl who went closer to make us understand each other?" I asked. "Yes I am. Now you remember me?" She asked. "Yes I do. Thank you so much. Without you, I couldn't have been friends with Sunghoon." I said and side-hugged her.

"And I assume that Sunghoon is the one who was crying and running that I saw a while ago." She said and I nodded excitedly but with guilt. "You saw him? Please tell me where he is? I need to fix things with him." I said  and a tear escaped my eye again.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying too? You've met Sunghoon again? What's the matter with you two?" She asked me. Sheesh, that's a lot of questions.

"Yeah I met him again and today is his birthday. I forgot it. I felt bad because I should always know that since I'm his boyfriend. He made my birthday special and I feel really bad that I made nothing for his birthday." I said while crying.
