"Who am I?" You may wonder. I'm the girl that grew up with guy friends. The one that would get made fun of by girls for not liking pink, or playing soccer instead of with Barbie dolls. But that's how I met Brent, the bad boy of Lincoln High. Guys would also make fun of me and I would cry after school behind the building where no one goes to.
One day when I had a crying session, someone came up to me and hugged me without saying anything. That hug was the best thing that happened to me and I waited until the person pulled out and I saw his face. I knew him because we had history together, which made me feel a little bit awkward.
"Don't let those jerks get to you. The guys wants to be as athletic as you and girls want guys to be around them like they are around you."
I smiled at his words and whispers, "Thanks."
"My name is Brent, but I think you already knew that since I sit across from you in fourth period."
"Yea, you're the one who stood up for me in class once. Thanks for that, by the way."
"It's no problem. I know I might come off as "tough" sometimes, but if you really knew me, I will never hurt a sweet girl, ok?"
I slightly blushed while responding back with an "ok" with a smile. My tears were gone at this point and I felt way better than I've been in months.

This happened about two years ago, which was the beginning of meeting my best friend. Even though his attitude to others is intimidating, his sweet side is always showing around me.

Wow, Ashley's still alive?! Who knew? But seriously, I apologize so freaking much for not updating since April. I've haven't been on Wattpad these past few months because of school testings, which reminds me. I'm going into high school soon! It may seem like nothing, but it's really scary and exciting for me because of the thought of meeting new people, teachers, and enemies (hehe) plus more homework gets me thinking a lot and trying to maintain my grades while write stories is too much for me, so I didn't write new chapters. What about you guys? How was your end of the school year experience if you are still in school?/Hopefully, this short-ish chapter (sorts of) makes up for it and I promise there will be a new chapter before June ends. Hope to "see" you guys later! Bye(blow kiss).]
