A black, low-key luxurious car slowly made its way in front of the city's number 1 high school. It's tinted windows hiding the sickly beauty sitting in the backseat as he rhythmically tapped one of his slender fingers on his crossed arms.

The driver at the front had glanced several times at the young master in the back-view mirror before focusing back on the road with a slight pink on his cheeks.

Young master Silas was truly deserving of his sickly beauty reputation.

A sigh resounded in the car.

Silas had his white hair with silver highlights tied in a ponytail with a few strands framing his fair skin perfectly. He had already been shown around the mansion that's mostly similar to the mansion in his past life.

But he had a helpless feeling bubbling in his chest as he remembered what had transpired in the morning.

It had already been a week after he had gotten discharged, and was shown around the mansion.

Today was his first day of high school and his family is absolutely going ballistic.

Walking through the hallway towards the dining room, Silas briefly nodded at the maids and butlers bowing to him before gazing at the paintings hung on the walls. He was slightly startled in the beginning at the similarities of the Mirais' mansion with his past life's family's mansion, but he was slightly relieved for it dissolved some of the detachment he still felt even if he came to terms with this new life.

The butler following him from behind opened the elegant white doors before him and stood aside.

Silas walked inside and was greeted with the warm smiles of his parents and his younger brother to which he gave a faint smile in return.

The dining table in the room was a long rectangle like those shown in movies about rich people's table when eating. His father sat at the end as the head of the family, his mother on his left while his brother sat on his right, one seat away from him. Silas sat on the empty seat that's right beside his father as the eldest son. Although the table was big, it was only for formalities as his family ate elegantly and yet they also brought food to each other like normal families do.

"Silas, you should eat more, look how skinny you still are!"

His mother chastised with a gentle tone as she almost filled his bowl with a mountain of meat while his younger brother, Rhys, kept nodding his head like a chicken pecking on rice.

His father stared for a bit before a smile played on his lips. Father Morais was secretly feeling glad that the dining table now had a lively feel to it. In the past, the atmosphere of the mansion was always a bit dull and gloomy after his eldest son entered a comatose state with him trying to make his wife and youngest son cheer up.

Father Morais looked at Silas with soft eyes as he gently told his wife that the white-haired teen won't be able to finish all of his food.

"You're first day of school is today, remember to call me if you need anything or if someone is bothering you, I'll make sure to get them expelled"

Silas' father told him in a soft tone while the sentence itself had an overbearing president style to it. His mother also joined in with a feral grin that didn't match her beautiful face.

"Yes, yes! Remember to tell us if anything or anyone is bothering you! We'll make sure to get rid of them!"

"That's right brother! Once I get enrolled in Caleai's No. 1 High School, I'll make sure to protect you!"

Silas felt exasperated at seeing Rhys' determined eyes. Isn't Silas the older brother? Why was Rhys, the younger one, the one who's supposed to protect him? Well, he'll just have to indulge on his brother for now.
