"Oh Peter, just give it up already!"

"Tell me, why are we wasting time?!"

"Ugh just-"

"You should be with me instead! I know I can treat you better...better than he can!" Peter yelled this as he slammed you against the wall, holding your wrists. Tears streamed down both of your faces.

You said, "You don't know that!" As a lump formed in your throat. You felt slightly nauseous just by standing in the position you were in with Peter, feeling so vulnerable. If only he'd listen to you..

"I just wanna give you the loving that your missing," Peters soft voice continued, slowly letting go of your wrists. A sudden crash on the window made you both jump out of your skin, you swiftly held on to him in fear, his arms also wrapping around you; as soon as you realised it was just the tree tapping the window, you pushed him off.

"I won't lie to you...I know he's just not right for you." He said to you, his eyes gleaming in the moonlight from more tears waiting to drop. Peter had something against your current boyfriend, an urge to push him away. Deep down you knew your boyfriend wasn't the best but it didn't mean you liked Peter.

"We're not 'wasting time' Peter! I have a boyfriend!" You shouted in frustration.

"I can see it on your face when you say that he's the one that you want."

"He is...it's time to go," you picked up your bag and attempted to leave but he stood in front of the door.

"You don't have to do this alone. I promise I won't let you down."

Peters obsession started a while ago, but you didn't have a clue. Whilst his eyes were on you, yours were on your so-called boyfriend 'y/b/n'. You hardly even made eye contact with Peter in school, let alone talk to him. However, it pained you to see him like this; he always seemed to be this quiet, nerdy, cute kid in the corner, a smile on his face whenever he got an answer right. There was never a dull day for Peter, not in your eyes.

"I'm not doing anything alone. I'm fine, just let me leave." Your eyes stayed on the ground, unable to look at him in the eye. From embarrassment? Probably. But he was telling the truth, he wanted to help you.

A great sigh left his mouth before combing through his hair once with his fingers. The dark circles below his eyes grew by the minute. "I've seen the way he treats you. You deserve better, your spending all your time in this wrong situation," he said, trying to get you to look at him. "I know what goes on y/n."

The front door was knocked loudly so you ran down to answer since your parents weren't home. As soon as you opened the door, your smile faded, seeing y/b/n barely standing straight, a half empty bottle of vodka in his hands.

"Y/b/n...why are you here and w-why are you drunk?" You asked.

"I'm not dru-..drunk," he choked out his words, beginning to stumble into the house. Lately he's been going to a lot of parties and not being able to keep up with his school work. You didn't know if you could handle it anymore.

"You clearly are! I'm sick of you always coming to me, what am I supposed to do?! We hardly even spend time together because of your stupidity, going to these parties 24/7." At this point you were about to lose your voice. Before, you didn't even realise how much this bothered you until finally speaking up about it; a weight was lifted off your chest.

Putting the bottle on the table, y/b/n staggered towards you, lifting your chin with his index. "I..I have b-been grrreat! To you! All you do I-is..is homework and boring shit!" He continued to slur his words and stutter. The alcohol in his breath hit you harshly as he started to yell, "YOU'RE NOTHING Y/N! Y-you're useless.." Y/b/n pushed your chin away forcefully, his nail scraping against it leaving a red scratch.
