The next day-

Papyrus-

Papyrus was honestly kind of getting worried to say so the least sans as always slept in, but he seemed off in an unsans way?
Like he seemed like he was in his own world. But not to worry I'm sure he's just going through a tough patch in his life!
And speaking of sans- "Finally you woke up!" Papyrus practically scooped his small brother off the ground with a warm smile. Sans kind of twitched at this motion. "Uh hey pal, mind puttin' me down?" His older brother wheezed as he was in a bone crushing hug.
"Oh! Of course!" Papyrus smiled putting him down softly. "Now! How about we get you something to eat, oh and it's still raining so I guess it's an inside day" papyrus smiled warmly at his brother before his face feel into a jokingly stern face " but I must warn you now puns or I will have to duc tape your mouth shut mister!" He mumbled as he led his brother into the kitchen. Sans on the other side of the conversation didn't respond and just seemed to be in his own small world.
Papyrus frowned at this but continued with conversation and sat sans at the table before wondering off talking and cooking.
He has gotten better at cooking!
"Hey bro?" Sans mumbled from where he sat his head on his arms. "Hm?" Papy mumbled
"I love to get breakfast with you but I gotta go meet up with some friends!" Sans lopsided smile.
Papyrus turned around and put his hands on his hips "Well! You better eat and stay hydrated when your out or I'll have to hunt you down and make sure, also don't forget your umbrella and extra jacket so you don't get soaked okay?" He smiled as he waved his brother out of the kitchen.
"And if you do get wet don't drag water through the house!" He called after the smaller skeleton.
"Got it bro" was the faint reply before a foosh sound meaning his brother teleported away.
