Chaos,
That's what this is.
Sitting among a bunch of teenage nincompoops was not how I planned this day to be like. But that's just one more reason why I don't like living. Currently I am in between a bunch of talkative, noisy and extroverted teenagers which is the second worst thing that could happen to me. It a close second to living.
By now it's pretty obvious that I'm thinking about Mr. mysterious guy AKA Cole (if that's even his real name). He is ...weird, very weird in fact. I have so many unanswered questions in my mind right now, who is he? What was he doing in that house? Why is it that I see him everywhere I go? I should stay away from him, but there's something very intriguing about him, I just can't put my finger on it.
He apparently doesn't even go to this school...now that's sus.
We didn't really talk the bus ride but I did catch a few glimpses of him. And trust me when I tell you he was handsome, I mean he was handsome. He had long, dark brown hair which blew with the wind and pretty brown eyes that glimmered every time the sun fell on his face.
Woah, I zoned out for a second there. He really is something else...
No, never are you getting involved with him. Never in a million years.
"Hey! Is this seat free?" a female voice distracts me helping me revive from my trance. "Huh? Y-yeah sure" I move my bag down so she can sit on the seat next to me. "Hi, I'm Rachel but you can call me Ray" ugh, she seems too friendly to be sitting next to me. "Hey... I'm Dae" I say half-heartedly whereas she returns a huge smile "It's nice to meet you Dae" just then to my luck the bell rings and I start hurriedly packing my things "Sorry gotta go but it was nice meeting you too, see you later...." I mumble to her and rush off before she can reply.
~Time Skip~
I sit down on a seat in the bus and clutch my bag, placing it on my lap. He still isn't here. I despise myself for waiting for him like some pick me girl. The bus is just about to leave when suddenly he pops his head and quickly rushes to sit next to me.
"Hey, Dae" he said, grinning. I suppose he wasn't satisfied hearing my small "hi" because he suddenly put his face between my bag and face, showing his war and saying, "I didn't hear you. What'd you say?" it was pretty clear he was teasing me at this point but all I could think of was how close he was to me. His breath fanning on my collar bone and his eyes looking straight into mine.
Gosh, those eyes...
Hell nah! Get yourself together Dae. "I SAID hi" I say clearing my throat trying to tease him back. Which spoiler alert, I did, miserably.
He giggles and returns to his previous position knowing very well that he achieved his goal by looking at my burning cheeks.
I will kill this guy someday. I swear the more he gets on my nerves the more nerves I get around him.
"So how was your day?" he asked. I was quite surprised by this sudden question of his. "Uh good, yeah. It was good" I said not quite sure of my answer. He chuckled and just kept nodding his head darting his big brown orbs here and there. I don't know why but I felt the need to mirror his actions so I just kept nodding my head too. But my nod wasn't the subtle kind where it would also be called bobbing. No, I went straight ahead and nodded my head so forcefully that my hair slapped my own face. Why am I like this? Though it was only twice my neck hurt real bad right after I was done nodding like I was high. He first looked at me with a surprised look on his face while I was busy massaging my neck with my hand, he suddenly broke out into a fit of laughter. "I don't know if anyone's ever told you but you nod is really funny". It wasn't even that bad of a comment but my egoist self-took it personally (or maybe I was just mad at myself how much I found his laugh cute) and said the stupidest thing I could have ever said. "Has anyone ever told you that you living in an abandoned home is really weird. What are you homeless?"
His face went pale as soon as I said so.
Wait is he really homeless?
