Since I play League of Legend I want to use canon game context so I will heavily be incorporating League of Legends lore with this species lore.
For those who aren't familiar with the league of legends lore Runeterra is the world both the LOL game and Arcane reside in its basically their earth.
In the canon LOL lore the character Aurelion Sol created Runeterra so for this fanfic lore he didn't.
Fun fact: the meaning of Runeterra is "magic earth"
