Family Reunion gone wrong

(Heh- hi- just letting everyone know we got genderfluid shellington, trans barnacles {ftm} and Demi-boy peso if you do not agree or feel comfortable you can skip this one also TW: homophobia)

*Barnacles pov*

Shellington asked me and peso to head to his family reunion, we both agreed

*when they got there*
"Good afternoon barnacles,peso, and shellington" said shellington sister

"Good afternoon" I said back

"Hey, what is everyone's pronouns" she asked

"Shellington's right now is he/they, peso is has the same pronouns and I am using he/him" I said and she nodded her head

"Ok, just to warn you, some of our family not very LGBTQIA+ friendly" she said as we walked to where everyone is

"Yea, Just don't tell them anything about captain,peso, and me please"shellington said

"I am not going to do that without your guys's permission and this isn't a friendly place to say that" she said then she opened the door to a very nice looking home

"Shellington! Come here son!" His dad said as we walked though the door. Shellington went over and hugged his dad

"Welcome! I am guessing you're part of Shillington's group" their aunt or mom said

"Yes we are ma'am" I said

"Well...I hope you know we don't like to talk about a certain topic in here..." she said, a little mad

"Yea, we know..." peso said quietly

"That is great! Have fun!" She said as she walked to the kitchen while me and peso went to a corner and sat there.

*2 hours later*

I was reading a book while peso was asleep right next to me when the dad walked over to me

"How may I help you?" I asked as shellington looking scared as hell and whispered something to his sister, who was also scared

"Are you ######?" (barnacles deadname) he asked

"Uhm....I don't know where you got that from but no that's not me...." I said as I got up,put away the book and picked up sleeping peso

"...I don't believe you, your sister is Bianca right?" He said

"Y-yea...I think it's best if I leave..." I said as started to leave with peso

"Good I don't want you in my house...I better not see you around ever again..."he said before I left the house,got into the gup a with peso and waited for shellington...

*30 minutes later*

I saw shellington leaving the house and he looked like they were about to cry when they got into the gup

"Shellington, what's wrong" I asked as he got into the sit next to me

"They found out...now they hate me..."they said before he started to cry

"Hey, if they weren't going to accept you for who you are then you need to find someone or a bunch of someones Who will accept you" I said as I started to drive the gup back to the octopod

"Thanks captain" they said before they fell asleep

"You're welcome" I said quietly

"I will make sure this never happens again..."
