mia nakamura
"why not? this was my
idea, so let me pay?"

this had been going on for a few
minutes now.

atsumu miya
"let me pay."

wrenn kobayashi
"shut up."

almost everyone's wallet was on
the table and there was a heated
discussion of four going on about who
was going to pay the bill.

suna's chair creaked a little when
he leaned over to you.

"i never get why people
argue over spending

you chuckled, throwing him
a side glance.

you two were the only ones who
hadn't put their wallet out on
the table yet.

"hey, lovebirds. you done
with flirting now?"

you looked at him with a
deathly glance, your smile fading.

suna was leaning back to his
normal position again.

you looked at wrenn who was giving
her boyfriend a smack on the
back of his head.

"ow."

aime returned to the table. you
hadn't noticed that she was gone.

"okay, the bill is paid.
let's get going."

wrenn kobayashi
"what? what do you mean?"

"she went to pay while you
guys were fighting."

atsumu miya
"this is betrayal."

you frowned and decided not to
engage in this senseless
conversation.

suna had been quick to make
his way outside, followed by mia.
you were still gathering you stuff and
putting on your jacket.

"shut up, tsumu. let's go."

everyone outside, atsumu was still
arguing with osamu about how
everything was an act of betrayal
against him.

you stood next to mia, your
shoulders touching.
she leaned over, whispering.

"what's up with rin?"

you shrugged before even looking
at him. he stood next to osamu
and was looking at his phone.

mia patted your back and
then turned to the rest of the group
who was still quarreling.

"guys, i'm tired. i wanna
go home."

aime ken
"yeah, me too."

atsumu miya
"already?!"

osamu miya
"what do you mean?
it's already late."

atsumu miya
"oh sorry, granny. i forgot
you go to bed at 10 pm."

osamu was hardly holding
himself back. aime kissed him
goodbye and joined you.

you let out a yawn, not up for
their shit at the moment.

mia nakamura
"y/n is also tired. we're
going home. you can take
wrenn with you if you want
to go out."

"excuse me? i am not
an object?!"

atsumu miya
"of course i will take my
lovely girlfriend with me!"

osamu miya
"wrenn, did he drink?"

their chatter had become
indistinctly.

you were staring at the ground,
the gaps between the tiles of the
sidewalk were fascinating.

eventually, everyone separated.

"okay guys, we'll see you
in uni then! have fun!"

the goodbye wasn't as warm as
the hello.

except for wrenn and you, no one
hugged and the boys went off
with waves, taking your roommate
with them.

you let out a frustrated sigh.
