(In this story, Freddy and Bonnie share a room, to explain the scenery a bit in case you get confused as to why Bonnie doesn't have his own room. Also, since Bonnie is already playing the bass in the band, Monty is a drummer. ((For now, anyway.)) That's all, enjoy!)
"Goodnight, everyone! Hope you enjoyed the show!" exclaimed the chelsea-colored bear as the stage descended to parts and service, his eyes glowing with delight. The Glamrocks had just finished up another successful show, and it was time for their routine after-show maintenance. Freddy felt a tap on his shoulder as he lowered his microphone to his side. "You did a great job out there!" said a familiar, warm voice. He turned around to see his significant other, Bonnie, giving him a warm, loving smile. Freddy blushed, smiling back. "Uhh... Th-thanks! Your performance was even more stellar than mine, though." he said in a tender voice.
"Awww shucks, Fred! Learn to take a compliment for once! You're so bashful sometimes!" replied the indigo-colored bun, playfully nudging his partner's arm. "Thanks though... Haha, you sure do have a way with words!" Bonnie added, his face appearing to glow a light pink as he quickly glanced the other way. The stage lift had finished descending, and the group's attention was quickly diverted as Vanessa greeted them at the big, red set of doors leading to parts and service.
"Well! We better get our routine checks done! Once we're finished though, why don't we head to the east arcade on a little date, love? It's been a while since we've actually been on one." suggested Bonnie, as the group headed through the entrance. "Sure! That sounds like fun!" Freddy chimed, his eyes seeming to sparkle with joy, his ears perking up in sync. Bonnie giggled. Freddy was a big softie with an even bigger heart, and that's what he loved the most about him.
"Bonnie, Freddy, come on! With how much you two are lagging behind, we'll never get this over with!" Roxy called, sounding slightly aggravated. "Coming, coming!" Bonnie called back. He then turned to Freddy. "Let's hurry, the sooner we get this done, the sooner our date can happen!". Freddy nodded, and quickly followed behind Bonnie to the protective cylinder. "Alright, let's get this over with." exclaimed a very tired and annoyed Vanessa, clicking away on the console keyboard as the door to the cylinder slid open.
...
Around an hour or two later, all five of the animatronics had been cleared for any bugs or glitches. It had taken slightly longer than usual since Monty had been extra aggressive towards Vanessa this time. He had even thrown a few curse words at her, claiming she was 'doing a terrible job' and that she was 'taking too goddamn long'. At one point, he even threw one of his drum sticks at her head, which caused Vanessa to chew him out for a few minutes. Needless to say, everyone was not very happy with Monty. After the slight inconvenience, Freddy and Bonnie were finally able to head to the east arcade together.
"Man, finally! I was starting to think we'd n e v e r get outta there" Bonnie sighed, sounding exasperated. "At least it's a maintenance weekend, though. We'll have a bit of a break from all the usual craziness and energy." he added. Freddy nodded. "Yeah! It means we'll have more time together!" Freddy said happily. Bonnie giggled, gazing lovingly at the big bear. He loved how enthusiastic and caring he was, and how whenever he entered a room, everything seemed to lighten up. Freddy noticed the bun staring, and looked away quickly, his face as red as a tomato.
"Hahaha! You're so shy, love! How adorable." the bunny said in a flirtatious manner. He grasped Freddy's hand tenderly, leaning against his shoulder as they approached the arcade. As the two arrived, Bonnie proceeded to grab a dozen or so nickels from his right pocket. "Right!" Bonnie exclaimed as he turned to face his partner. "Let's go have some fun!". He then sped towards his favorite game in the corner of the arcade, which was ski ball. "Wait up, hun!" Freddy said, quickly following Bonnie towards the machine.
Bonnie took three nickels, inserting them into the slot on the cabinet. He pushed the button which made a slight 'click', followed by a 'ding', which proceeded a bunch of clunking and thudding sounds as the balls fell into the slot next to the slanted lane. "Now watch how a 𝘱𝘳𝘰 does this" the bunny said smugly, showing a sly smile with a half-lidded gaze to the bear whom stood next to him.
He got into position, then with a quick motion of his wrist, let go of the ball, sending it rolling up the lane and into the 10,000 point hole. He did this again and again, never failing to miss. When he had used up all the ski balls, another 'ding' sound followed, as a couple hundred tickets spewed out from the machine. Freddy stood there in awe as Bonnie picked up the mountain of tickets. "Now that's how a professional does it!" Bonnie exclaimed proudly, looking at Freddy with a twinkle in his eye.
"Wow, bon! You are amazing!" Freddy praised his partner. "You never cease to amaze me!" he added with a warm smile on his face. "Aw, gee, superstar! You're makin' me blush..." the bunny said sheepishly, glancing to the side as his face lit up red. Freddy also glanced away, as his own face started to turn the same deep, crimson color. After the couple stood there for a few minutes in an awkward silence, Freddy spoke up, stammering a bit over his own words. "Uh- uhm, anyways, what are we gonna do with those tickets? We don't really have any particular use for them...". "Ah, well..." Bonnie responded. "I'm sure I can give them to a kid or somethin'!".
The pair were quiet for a few seconds more. This time, it was Bonnie who broke the silence. "We should prolly head back to our room haha... don't wanna get in trouble with Vanessa again, we'd never hear the end of it!" he said, a slightly awkward tone in his voice. The bear nodded in agreement. "Yeah, let's go! Also- let me help with those." Freddy said, taking half of the tickets into his own arms as the two began to head back to where they came from. It had been a nice night, but now it was time for them to sit back and take it easy for a bit.
