What Is This Feeling?

9:24 PM, THE NIGHT THEY MET

Bruno's POV:

"Hey sis Julietta!" I scramble to catch my sister's attention. "Yes Bruno?" She sets down plates she was cleaning in the kitchen just now. "Can you put this in a pot and soil so I can take care of it? Please?" She smiled and took it, bringing it to an empty pot that sat on the window sill. "Of course Bruno! I'll take good care of i-" I interrupt Julietta. "C-can I take it to my room? So I can take care of it?" Her eyes widened then softened again, smiling and handing me the pot with the flower and soil. "Water it twice a day, once in the morning, once at night." She pats my head "Thank you sis!" I wander off to my room. I sit and admire the flower for a few moments, then I fall asleep.

A WEEK OF THEM MEETING: (They've met everyday, this is maybe the 7th-8th day they meet up)

Bruno's POV:

 I wake up and do my usual routine of brushing my teeth, eating breakfast, greeting everyone, blah blah blah. I finally get back to my room and think about y/n, looking at the time.. "I'M LATE!!" I scramble to put on my poncho and chanclas to meet up with Y/n. Oh no.. I hope they don't think I bailed on them..

Y/n's POV:

Did Bruno bail on me..? Did I say something wrong..? I frown and tears well up in my eyes while I look up at the sky. How do I always somehow find a way to mess things up.. I hear soft footsteps behind me, ignoring it thinking it may be a bird scavenging for seeds in the grass. I sit down and rest my face in my palms, trying not to cry. "BOO!" Bruno tackles me and hugs me laid down on the grass. I squeal and smack him on the arm "OWW I'M SORRYY!- Wait.. Why is your face wet? Are you crying?" He pushes himself away, scared if he hurt you or not. "Nono I'm fine I'm fine." He furrowed his eyebrows and frowns. "I know you were crying y/n, look at your eyes. What's wrong?" He wipes away the tear that was smudged onto my face. "I thought you didn't wanna hang out with me today, I got scared." My eyes welled up with tears again and he had a guilty look on his face. "Y/n.. I'm sorry. I I fell asleep really late last night and woke up super la-"

 Bruno's POV:

 Y/n hugged me tightly, I held them in my arms. "I'm just so glad you still want to hang out with me. I didn't want to lose my friend." They shoved their head into my chest, holding onto me with their hands on my back. I sighed with my chin on top of their head, rubbing circles into their back to comfort them. Suddenly, I remembered something. "Come on, I have something to make up for me being late." I pull them away and smile at them, them looking at me with a confused look. While we were walking through town yesterday, I saw this necklace that reminded me of them. I forgot I had brought money to buy it today! I lead them by their hand through the town, coming across the same jewelry store and stopping in my tracks. I push them inside a pet store and leave them there. "Stay here, I'll be back." They looked at me with their brows furrowed but raised them when they saw a cute kitten. How adorable.

I run to the jewelry store and come across it, running up to the person at the counter. "Can I buy this? Please? It's for someone I really love- I MEAN LIKE- I MEAn- ugh. Whatever just- can I get it?" The guy behind the counter with an annoyed look nods, "$25.88 for it, you got the money?" Bruno nods and hands down a 20, a 5, and a 1. "Keep the change, THANK YOU!" I run over and shove the necklace box in my pocket, excited to give it to them.

Y/n's POV:
AWE LOOK AT ALL THESE DOGGIES AND KITTIES! Something catches my eye.. Something small.. White and brown spots.. Fluffy.. IS THAT A BUNNY?! I squeal with excitement, jumping around like a maniac. I reach my hand in slowly and pet it, it lays down to my touch and rubs against my hand. Awe.. So cute.. It reminds me of Bruno in a way. Maybe because it's got green eyes, or the way he's soft and fun around me! I giggle playing around with the bunny, waiting for Bruno until.. "BOO!" Bruno again, tackles me and hugs me from behind rustling my hair. "BRUNNOO!!! STOOP! YOU'LL SCARE THE BUNNY!" Bruno calms down and looks at the bunny. He looks at it mesmerized, adored by the cuteness. He reaches in and the bunny does the same, even giving small licks or kisses at his hand. "Awe he likes you Bruno!!" I say excitedly. He smiles and rubs the bunny's head looking at the price. "He's cheap, only $13, he'll find a home soon." He walks away, using his hand to point for us to leave. I nod and keep my eyes on the bunny as I walk away with Bruno.
