I've been a bad author but this changes tonight

One thing that she loved was nature. For some reason she always found peace in nature. She loved seeing how things grew. How a small tree turned into a towering tree. She smiled at everything she loved. The people, the sky, the sun, and the kid running towards her. She was about to tell him to watch out but soon found herself tumbling along with the blond boy. One thing she noticed was that he had bright blue eyes just like the sky she adored. "Hey what's wrong?" She asked but the boy wasted no time in hiding behind her. She looked up and saw a group of boys and soon became angry.

"Hey! Leave him alone!" She shouted and stood in fron of the blond boy. "Pick on someone else. He's under my protection," she stated and glanced at the boy behind her. "Woah, the Hokage," she stated in false awe and grinned as the group that had chased the boy quickly turned to look at the said Hokage. She quickly grabbed the blond's boy hand and ran with him. He was thankful for the small plan she had come up with. Once they were far away from the group, she let go of his hand and gave him a smile. "Hi I'm Sakura!" She exclaimed and stretched her hand to his. He stared at her for a while, and she thought she did something wrong but that changed when the blond boy grinned back. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki! Future Hokage!" He stated and her eyes widened. "That's my dream!"

Naruto eyes widened too, but he gave her a heart full laugh. "Sakura-chan we shall compete for the Hokage spot, but for now will you like to be my friend?" He asked quietly and she gave him a smile that had him melting. That day the two friends were enjoying a game of tag in the woods and no one could stop them. "Naruto, will we become strong ninja?" She asked and he gave her a pat in her tiny shoulder. "With you by my side, nothing can stop us," he stated and stared at the sky. He was right, she believed him. She had met someone that had the same dream as her, and there was no way she was letting him down. As the sun set, she knew they had to depart. "Let's meet back here every day, Naruto," she told him and he eagerly nodded. She soon waved a bye to her new found friend and walked to the orphanage.

One minute late and she would've been pulled by her ear but it didn't matter to her. She had a new friend and that friend was as cool as her. Plus he carried the sky in his eyes, and she loved the sky. That was the night that she went to sleep with a smile on her face. On the other side, Naruto walked into his apartment and ate expired ramen. He loved ramen and everything about it. He was excitedly kicking his feet at making his first friend. He swore he would not let her go. The joy she bought to him was like one of the bright lights he heard at the festivals. She was odd looking though, but she had the greenest eyes he has ever seen. They reminded her of the bright colored leaves during spring.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the third Hokage, softly smiled at the scene he has seen. He had finally found a friend that had pure intentions. They were both odly looking with their bright colors and what so not, but it did not matter to him. As long as someone kept Naruto company, he would be okay.
