Chapter 1 - Fleeting...?

Ren Arakawa, a male who's...not really that tall, he's 17 years old and goes to Shinjuku Boy's Academy, he's 5'4, has long red hair, bronze eyes, doll like skin, and is sometimes mistaken as a girl.

This is the story, of how he met a fleeting companion. Currently, Ren is in the Kendo club as Ren and his friends, Leo and Subaru, were wiping their sweat.

Leo Sakura is a tall blonde with green eyes, fair skin, and is recorded at 6'0. He's always there for his friends, and is described to be a prince at times.

Subaru Hisako however is 5'7, with black hair and golden eyes, he's usually chill, but when someone decides to insult him and his friends, he throws all formalities out the window and will pick up his fist or shinai or bokken and defend his friends.

"Hey Ren, want to drop by your place for some coffee before working?"

Leo asked as he placed his armor in the bag and waited for them.

"Sure, I don't mind."

Ren said as he removed his men and breathed a bit.

"You were great today, here."

Subaru said as he gave Ren a sports drink.

"Thanks, let's go."

Ren said as they left and went to his family's cafe.

A few minutes pass and they reach the Arakawa Family Cafe, they then had a small shower in the bathroom and they go downstairs.

"Alright, I'll get our orders out."

Ren said as he went behind the counter.

"Let's get to work after this right away."

Subaru said as Ren placed coffee down on the table.

"Yeah, but first, we need to talk about training first, Leo was one second late with his swings."

Ren said as Leo flinched a bit.

"Oh yeah, you noticed that too? Leo got a bit slower, have you been eating too much?"

Subaru asked as he ate the cake.

"I-I did not...! My arms just hurt more today, sorry..."

Leo exclaimed.

"Oh right, you're in the drama club, you're doing a play with Haneoka Girl's School right?"

Ren asked.

"Yeah, it should be fun having a play with actual girls instead of..."

Leo said but reminisced some...not so pleasant memories.

"Oh right...how is your back after carrying the biggest guy in school for dance practice?"

Ren asked.

"Yuuto is a really great guy, fun to have coffee sometimes, but why couldn't he just carry me..."

Leo said as he rubbed his back.

"On the bright side, he got you cake to apologise."

Subaru added as he finished his coffee.

"Exaclty! He got it from Hazawa cafe, their fruit tarts are amazing!"

Leo exclaimed.

"I know, it's their unique speciality, the houseblend is amazing too."

Ren stated.

"Shouldn't you try to beat them though? Seeing as you're a cafe too."

Leo asked finishing his cake.
