"How do you feel about your relationship with your mother?" Yeonjun flashed the dimly lit screen at you for you to read too.
And not because he wanted to see you.
"We're not close. Like the only times she talks to me would usually be after each term when the test period ends? I guess. She spends more time with my brother." You thought of your mother, which made you slightly clench your fist that was on the floor.
Yeonjun used his free hand to hold your clenched fist, caressing your hand with his thumb to reassure you.
You felt comforted and relaxed, despite 'words of comfort' not being exchanged.
You then realised what the both of you were doing and pulled away.
"For me, I'm closer to my mum. She ocassionally calls me. She visits me here in Korea sometimes only. Maybe once or twice a year?"
