Dear Banele...

I've always been more comfortable writing you WhatsApp messages
Than actually sentences.
And at least when I'm texting I can't crumble
Even when the butterflies in my stomach rumble.

There is no way I can articulate what you mean to me since that moment we first saw each other or the joy you brought me since I first met you
And the light from that moment will be shining for the next thousand years

I hope somehow someday we will be able to be what is inside this short story
And live out all the incredible moments just waiting for us out there

I can spend million minutes
on everybody else but with you
I didn't waste one second guessing.
