Y/N's POV

Sun made me stay up later than usual. I wondered why, and he told me that it was New Years Eve and he wanted to drop a huge ball with me. The lights were dimmed so both Sun and Moon were there.

Sun had made a clay ball and put glitter inside of the ball, so when the ball fell glitter would go everywhere.

Dusk - what Sun and Moon called themselves when the lights were dimmed - was standing on top of the play area with a timer.

I sat at the bottom waiting for the ball to drop. Sunny was laying on my lap watching the ball. "Are you trying to figure out how to eat the ball?" I asked her laughing.

Sunny looked at me and angrily meowed, as if I interrupted its train of thought.

"Oh sorry about that." I pet it, hoping that it would forgive me. Sunny started purring and I sighed with relief.

"10!" Dusk shouted.

Sunny meowed counting 9.

"8!" I shouted.

All of us started counting at the same time.

Once we finally hit 0, Dusk slammed the ball onto the ground, breaking apart with the glitter going everywhere, and we all shouted "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

Sunny pounced on the glitter and started attacking it and the clay.

Dusk jumped down and gave me a big hug. "You know what people do on New Years when the ball drops, right?" I nodded. "So let's do it."

Dusk pulled me close, with me blushing and them heating up. Our faces were really close to each other. Dusk seemed nervous to do it so I did it.

I kissed them, and they heated up a lot kissing back.

We were kissing for a while. It felt so nice and the feeling was warm. We stopped when Sunny started to get irritated and wanted pets. We both pet Sunny, and it was purring, happy it got what it wanted.

I yawned and Dusk took me up to the tower and layed me down onto the bed. They cuddled me and I soon fell asleep in their arms with Sunny sleeping up against my back.

"Goodnight." Dusk said quietly, soon falling asleep too.
