"Guys! We have an announcement to make!" Minho said smiling so happily. A smile that spread from ear to ear. "Me and Han are dating!" He continued as he raised their intertwined hands to show everyone. Everyone cheered a natural reaction as they also teased and said their 'congratulations'. Hyunjin was happy he really was but at the same time he was hurt. The clench in his chest quite suffocating. He already embraced himself for this moment. He already prepared for it but for it to actually happen hurt more than he expected yet he had to be happy. Because both Han and Minho was his best friends after all.

Now it made sense to him. Why Minho asked him that question. Why Minho's mood would easily change everytime him and Han got a little touchy. It wasn't because Minho was jealous because he liked Hyunjin it was because he liked Han. All the fantasy he made up thinking and hoping that it was him who Minho actually liked. Him thinking that maybe there's a chance that his feelings were reciprocated all burned into ashes. Of course Minho would always only think of him as his best friend. It was pathetic really he acted all happy for the both of them when in reality he's really just hurting. Yet he can't let it out and tell anyone because nobody knew. It was his deep little secret. Was it selfish of him? Was it selfish of him to wish that was him who Minho liked instead of Han? But then again Han was way too precious to him for him to even wish something that would hurt the other. For Han he was willing to let go but was he even really letting go when he wasn't an option in the first place?

Han and Minho were a match made in heaven. Hyunjin laughed mockingly at himself once he was alone in his room. Was it that he fell for the wrong person? Why can't he be the one who Minho liked? It hurt and he could even barely eat for days. Yet no one knew that he was hurting. Only asking him why he wasn't eating much as he would just brush it off with the same excuses. Truth be told it wasn't him who was the problem it was just purely fate who was cruel to him.

This was a story that was written to have a happy ending but when told and written from Hyunjin's perspective, I know one would think otherwise. Unfortunately this was the version of the story that wasn't meant to have a happy ending.
