"Julian!!!"
I clutched my stomach doubling over in pain. I sat in bed crying out for Julian. My water just broke and right now i'm not feeling too great.
"Sweetheart," I heard my mother yell frantically. Her feet making patting sounds against the wooden floor as she ran to my room.
I was grateful my mom was living with me and Julian. I was in so much pain and I really needed somebody since obviously, he wasn't here.
"Mom, i-it hu..hurts." A wave pain shot through my stomach and back causing me to clench my eyes closed in pain.
"Okay baby, we have to get you to the hospital," she said as she tried to help me out of, my now soaked, bed.
"No!" I refused to have my baby, our baby, without Julian.
"Riley, you have to get to the hospital," she tried convincing me.
"I'm not having this-Ahh!!" Another contraction hit me, making tears trickle down my face.
"It doesn't matter what you want, Riley!! Whether you like it on not the baby is coming when it feels if you're ready or not!!"
I knew she was right. Usually I'd fight more on the subject but the pain was unbearable so I just gave in.
"F-fine."
I struggled to get out of bed. I suddenly had different feel in my stomach. It wasn't contractions but a more familiar ache.
"Ma," I called to her, my voice cracking as she walked me towards the door.
"Yes?"
"I-I got to use the bathroom," I said my face burning a brighter red in embarrassment.
I could tell that my mom was struggling to contain her giggles. Her eyes widened and a small smile crept upon her face as she tried to hide it with her hand.
"O-okay sweetheart," a small laugh escaped her mouth.
"Maa, it's not funny," I whined. I winced as another pain shot through me. It wasn't as bad as the rest of the contractions but I could still feel it.
"I konw, I know. It's natural but do you have to pee too?"
I looked at my mother like she was an idiot, but then I thought about it. I actually did kind of need to pee. I nodded my head, seeing no point in lying.
"Let's get you to the bathroom." She guided me to the bathroom trailing behind me for support. I had no idea why but I felt at peace. I thought I would scream and shout like the women in the movies do. I mean I did scream but not as bad as them.
"Okay I'll leave you here. I'll be standing right outside the door so scream if you need anything." I nodded as she left. After undoing my pajama shorts I sat on the toilet and sighed. Well, I guess this is what labor's like. Somebody pray for me.
Hello! So you might be a bit confused or maybe not, but this chapter as well as some the next is taking place in the past. It'll be in Riley's point of view also. I know it might seem pointless now but it plays a big part in the story.
So um Vote and Comment if you like it so far. So uh, see ya!
p.s. I know it sucks but cut me some slack, i'm not the best at writing.
