-Setta Kuinshī-
I mentally slapped myself. I'm starting to get tired of doing paper work every single day. I wished that I could go on a mission into world of the living, but I'm stuck here handing out paper work.

I sigh to myself I really need new friends I'm starting to act like Akihiro, a complainer. I walked to the ninth division with my stack of paper that almost reached to my chin.

- Hisagi Shūhei-

I layed in exaustment on the grass near the front gate of the division. Captain Mugurumas training is hardcore, finally after 3hours I finally get a break.

As I look at the bright blue sky trying to relax myself, a soul reaper caught my attention. Not moving from my position, I look upward to see Setta with paper work. She looks like she's kind of struggling. I stood up and walked behind her to see if she need any help.

" You need help Setta?" I asked tapping on her shoulder.

She jumped up in surprised and dropped all of her papers on the floor, making it scatter all over the place. Setta turned around and sighed in relief see it was me.

" Lieutenant Hisagi you scared me, you almost gave me a heat attack." She bent down to pick up the paper work.

I bent down as well to help, I probably should of have made my precence more noticeable. Seeing a piece of paper infront of me I went to go grab it, but to my surprise Setta was going for the same piece of paper. My hand was now on top of hers like we were holding each others hands. We both looked at each other, our faces were inches apart. We both stared into eachothers eyes. It felt like I was drowning in Settas dark drown eyes.

" Uhhh sorry about" she said quickly looking down blushing. Damn she was so cute. Wait what am I thinking!

Once all the paper was collected I walked Setta to my office. I suddenly felt utterly defeat when I remembered what my Captain Muguruma told me the other day

~flash back~

" Hey the soul society is hosting a dance, but it's hosted on a private beach" Captain Muguruma told me while I was coming in with some paper work.

" huh why? Isn't that a Human thing, and a highschool thing?" I asked confused.

" Head Captain said it would be good to have a bit of fun and learn human culture. You should ask Setta to the dance" he said calmly sipping his coffee.

I dropped the paper work on the floor from shock " A-Ask S-setta"

Captain Muguruma just continued sipping his coffee with a grin.

~flashback ended ~

After that Captain told me if I didn't ask Setta to the dance he would double up my share of paperwork. I really want to ask her, but we barely talk. We only talk when she comes to drop off some paper work. I tried to work up the courage to ask her but it felt it was too late by the time we approached my office.

" Thanks for helping Lieutenant Hasagi"

"U-uh! no problem! a-and just call H-Hasagi..." I said looking away blushing.

" Oh ok Hasagi" she gave me one of her signature smiles. At that moment I felt like something in me just snapped .

"Setta! will you-" the door of the office suddenly slammed open cutting me off. And out of everyone it had to be lieutenant Mashiro.

"I knew I heard voices!" lieutenant Mashiro yelled.

" Hello lieutenant Mashiro, where you heading too? " Setta asked.

"Gonna get some snacks see ya~" she walked pass Setta and stuck her tongue at me from behind her before walking away. That little... she knew that we were out here.

"Oh were you going to say something Hisagi?" Setta tilted her head with curiosity.

"Uhh-I-! nevermind..." My chance was ruined.
