*"well... Carolyn ?" She questioned.*
Me and julia looked at each other worriedly and i then looked at carolyn praying that she wouldn't tell elizabeth what she saw "i walked into y/n's room and saw her and julia" carolyn began and i felt my heart quicken and i began panicking as elizabeth interrupted her "carolyn will you just spit it out what is going on ?" she said "well they were trying to get something and i spoke and scared them and it turns out they were trying to catch a spider and when i scared them the spider moved and ran after us so we all got caught by surprise thats why we were running and screaming sorry mum" she said and as soon as she finished i felt a huge wave of relief and i could see that julia was relieved too "Seriously, we live in a building thats hundreds of years old with cobwebs every where you look and youre all screaming over a spider ?" elizabeth said frustratedly and we all nodded "it just startled us thats all sorry lizzy it wont happen again" julia said in reply as elizabeth shook her head at us before walking away.
"I think you guys have some explaining to do" carolyn said as soon as elizabeth left "yeah, come on lets go to my office" julia suggested and we began walking to her office "thank you so much carolyn you totally saved our asses back there" i said as we walked into julias office "like fuck would i rat you out but come on spill already i still don't know whats going on" she said impatiently and julia closed the door behind us as we all took a seat and julia took a deep breath in before starting to explain "well, erm carolyn listen the thing is me and y/n are sort of seeing eachother.. and we didnt know how everyone would react and so we havent told anyone so we would really appreciate if you didnt tell your mother or anyone else in the house just for now" julia explained and carolyn looked shocked "wow well uh thats a lot to take in i mean.. i wasnt expecting to walk in on that to be honest its quite a surprise" she said with a little laugh at the end "yeah i suppose that is quite a welcome when you come into my room" i laughed back and julia just blushed she looked so embarassed that carolyn had caught us doing what we were doing but i was just glad that it was carolyn that walked in instead of elizabeth or even david "so can you not tell anyone about us just until we figure out how to tell everyone ?" i asked and carolyn nodded "of course i wont tell anyone dont worry" she smiled and i smiled back gratefully "thank you" julia said "thanks carolyn" i replied "no problem, but i have some work to do so i better go do that now ill catch up with you in a bit y/n" she said and i nodded as she left and me and julia both let out a breath as we looked at each other "that was close" i said "you think ?" julia replied sarcastically.
Me and julia then started thinking of how we should tell everyone about us because it wasnt fair on carolyn to have to keep the secret for too long "well there's no great way to tell them i suppose we just have to get it done with and hope they're all supportive" julia said "yeah i know, im just worried about elizabeth what if she fires us.. we both live here what would we even do ?" i asked and julia sighed "well lets just cross that bridge if it happens and hope she doesn't fire us or kick us out" she said and i nodded "so when are we telling them then ?" i asked "maybe tonight if everyone is in a good mood at dinner and you feel ready ?" julia said "ok im just going to go to my room for a little while and think of what im going to say if thats alright" i said "yeah of course ill do the same but dont stress about it too much y/n if it doesnt go well we'll figure it out dont worry" she tried to reassure me and i nodded in agreement "alright" i replied before leaving and going to my room sitting and thinking until i looked at the clock and realised it was dinner time already.
i was absolutely terrified to be honest and went straight to the dining room trying to shake the thought that it would all go wrong. i sat down with everyone and began eating food wondering where the hell julia was, why wasnt she at the table when she knows were supposed to be telling everyone right now ? "Has anyone seen julia ?" i asked and everyone shook their heads "no sorry y/n not since earlier but shes probably just busy working or drinking you know what she's like" elizabeth stated and i nodded "yeah probably" i replied. i ended up finishing my food quickly so that i could go and see where julia was, i went straight to her office and knocked "julia ?" i called in but there was no reply so i banged a little harder on the door and shortly after julia answered and i could tell immediately that she was drunk so i stormed in shutting the door behind me "what the fuck julia ?" i said angrily and julia was just dancing a little swaying from side to side and sipping on her drink "what" she slurred "why the hell are you drunk we were supposed to be telling everyone at dinner about us and you didnt even bloody show up" i said and julia just looked at me remorsefully "sorry y/n i got scared... i dont want elizabeth to hate me this is all i have this job, this house, and you and i dont want to lose it all" she said sadly which i nodded in reply "i get it julia i'm scared too but we have to tell them and you can't go off getting drunk and leaving it all for me to deal with" i said annoyed and she nodded "ok" she said and i helped her get into her bed and made sure she was alright before she fell asleep.
