I did my mascara and dried my hair. I curled my hair and then brushed it out then went out. I grabbed Mya's present and took it to the kitchen with me. I set it on the counter and ate with everyone.
Kendall: going somewhere? Baylee: to see Mya and do a Christmas photo shoot. Momma K: You really like this girl? Baylee: She's like family.
They didn't say anything. They all knew that my family wasn't ever there. I grew up with these boys, literally. I'd spend endless nights at Kendall and Logan's houses and when I was at my house it was either a drugged up mess or a abusive mess.
Momma K: I'm glad you found your sense of comfort.
I nodded.
Kendall: should we come too? Maybe see all of the little sick kids and give them all presents? Logan: that's a good idea. We'll meet you there at 11. Baylee: sounds great.
I finished up and then went to the hospital to see Mya.
Grace: Baylee! Just the person Mya would love to see. I'm just going to warn you though, she's really weak. Baylee: What?
The elevator doors closed.
Grace: she's not doing good. The doctors don't know how much longer she's going to live. Baylee: She'll pull through it. We know. Grace: the doctors don't think so. They said she's so small that she can't fight it.
I didn't say anything. We got to the floor. I went to her room with Grace just behind me.
Grace: do the photo shoot. Do everything you talked about yesterday.
I nodded. I went in.
Mya: Baylee! Baylee: hey sweet girl.
The photographer took pictures.
Baylee: I got you a present. Mya: you didn't have to. Baylee: I did. We're sisters. Mya: we're sisters.
I gave her her present. She loved it. We got more pictures. Then the doctor came in.
Doctor: I'm afraid we have to kick you out. We need to do some tests.
I nodded. I hugged Mya and left. The guys were there. The nurses were bringing out the kids and they were giving them presents and getting pictures. I helped. The kids loved it.
James: you alright? Baylee: yeah. I'm good. Excited actually. We get to go back to Minnesota tonight I'll get to see my brother. I got to see Mya. Now we're all here together doing something good. James: Yeah. That's right.
It's December 23rd. The flight back to Minnesota is tonight. Little do the guys know that I'm going to make a excuse to push back my flight and then not even go to Minnesota. Which I'm fine with because I don't have family there besides them anyways.
Kendall: alright. Logan: do something good for kids is checked off my bucket list.
I didn't say anything. I saw nurses running in and out of Mya's room.
Logan: we'll see you back at the palm woods. Baylee: Sounds good.
They left. I went over to the room. Grace hugged me, crying.
Baylee: what what's going on? Doctor: she couldn't fight anymore.
Grace was crying so much and I was in complete shock.
Nurse: your Baylee? Baylee: yeah. Nurse: I think this is yours.
She handed me a present. Stephen came over and took Grace.
Stephen: thank you for making Mya's time great. Baylee: Thank you for letting me be with her. She was a beautiful girl.
He smiled and hugged me. I then left. The camera man taking pictures of me as I walked away. I went and got into the limo. I sat there. For three hours. Then the flight leaving time was ten to.
Morgan: Miss, your going to miss your flight. Baylee: I don't honestly care. I have no family anyways.
About ten minutes later we arrived at the palm woods. I went up to the apartment. The guys were gone. My phone was blown up but I didn't look at it. I opened Mya's gift. It was full of colored pictures and " I ❤️ Baylee" I cried while opening it. I set up my phone to take a picture. I put my thumbs up and smiled. The picture took. I picked my favorite one and went to instagram. I captioned it, "feeling is worse then heartbreak, I love you" then posted it. Seconds later my dms were blowing up. I had missed calls from Kelly. I ignored it. I played my guitar. I wrote a song. I recorded it and then looked at my phone it was 6:30. The guys had landed. I read Kendall's messages. - Wya Meet at the airport Flight leaves in 2min wru?? Plane is boarding hurry up!! Was missing your plan? What's up with the insta post?
Then Logan's - Hey we just had lunch are you on your way back? We're heading to the airport Baylee. Where are you. The plane leaves in five minutes. Was missing the flight your plan? You love who!!?
Then James - Baylee Baylee Baylee Baylee Baylee Answer me We're at the air port Baylee Baylee Baylee Baylee We're about to board Baylee Earth to Baylee Baylee! We're in Minnesota did you reschedule your flight? Baylee What's wrong!? ANSWER!
Then Carlos - Baylee were boarding the plane are you here? What happened are you ok? Baylee you missed the flight to Minnesota! It's Christmas you have to be here.
Then Gustavo - Baylee the guys are worried about you. Answer me. Baylee you missed your flight. I'm rescheduling it. You missed the reschedule too Baylee! You can't spend Christmas alone in LA! Baylee answer one of us at least
Then Kelly - I'm not happy with you girl. I'm hearing a lot Answer one of us We need to know your ok Bitters said he saw you. Your at the palm woods and not I'm MN Why didn't you go back to Minnesota. You missed the back up flight?
Then Katie - What am I gonna do with you not in MN for Christmas? I'm not gonna blow you up bc I know your ignoring us all. Baylee what happened.
Then Momma K. - Baylee. You missed both flights hun. I thought you were excited to go back to MN? Message me soon kiddo.
That was all of them. Then Logan was calling. I decided to answer. He quickly changed to FT I accepted.
Logan: Baylee. Kendall: you missed the flight. Carlos: why! Baylee: I have no reason to be in Minnesota. James: to be with us. Momma K: Baylee I am very unhappy with you. Baylee: be unhappy with me. You all can be. I'm not going to Minnesota just to bring back terrible memories when I can be here where no one knows what I went through during my child hood and I won't be questioned 24/7
I hung up. I wiped my tears away. I went and grabbed my guitar and went to Rocque records. Kelly had given me a key a while back. I went to the booth and recorded my song. Then I put it on CD along with all of my other songs. Then I set up my phone and FT Katie.
Katie: hey. Baylee: Yeah. Katie: sad you missed MN flight. Baylee: I'm not. Katie: we got plane tickets and are coming back early. Baylee: go and enjoy your Christmases. I did this so I wouldn't ruin them. Katie: you could never. I saw the news and all the crying pictures of you.
I nodded.
Katie: why are you in the studio.
I played the new song. She listened to the entire thing.
Katie: this is worse then heart break and I love you.
I nodded. We talked a while and then she had to go before the guys found out. I went back to palm woods and went to bed.
