"So... what happens now?" A voice spoke, standing in front of the exhausted Akira.
Akira Nakamura, who was an 18-year-old man, had killed himself after he had lost everything in life and descended down to the realm between Life and Death, the Void. In the Void, he discovered a new purpose. One that will make things right. He came across characters from Japanese and Korean stories and eventually, he learned from them and they gave him their power, abilities, weapons, armor, etc. He came across people from numerous dimensions and befriended them all, despite keeping a distance from them all. With him helping so many people and yet stepping away as soon as they tried doing the same (which didn't work because then they just gave him their gifts anyways).
Right now, Akira was sitting down after having dueled with Rimuru Tempest at full power (light novel version) and having finally won. "Don't know, nor do I really care." Akira stated.
Akira had mutated from all of the powers and beings he had absorbed during his life. They had changed his personality, physical appearance, and the number of lives and souls he possessed. His physical appearance when he was a regular human mortal before death was stringy black hair that cascaded down to his shoulders, sickly pale skin, scarily skinny and bony body structure, short (only standing at about 5 feet tall at most), no facial hair, and poison green eyes.
But right now he looks completely different from his old self. He has normal and smooth dark grey hair that looks healthy that went down to his ears, a dark tan that would make you think he was mixed with a quarter African blood, a strong tough body that was lean yet had muscles that were hardened all across his body, tall (now standing at 6 feet and 2 inches), still no facial hair, and a kind and yet eye-catching and startling set of blue eyes.
Rimuru chuckled. "I would like to understand something about you, though."
Akira looked up at Rimuru, "Well, what is it?"
Rimuru sighed and reverted to slime form. "Why do you keep pushing me away? No, not the right choice of words... why do you keep me at a distance? You keep me far enough away to where we don't form any strong bond. Why is that?"
"I do that with everyone." Akira said with a wave of his hand.
"That's not what I asked." Rimuru affirmed.
Akira looked away for a moment. "I don't want to hurt anyone. Not again." Akira said softly.
Rimuru bobbed his slime body. "I see..." Rimuru leaped onto the ground next to Akira and looked up at him. "I think I've decided what should happen now."
Akira looked down at the slime curiously, "Oh? And what's that then?"
"I will send you to another world so you can hopefully find and make some friends. Have a good family, you know?" Rimuru said.
"So you will reincarnate me in another world? Can you even do that? No, that's a dumb question." Akira shook his head from his rhetorical question. Akira stood up, "I don't really know about this, Rimuru..."
"You will still have all of our abilities, powers, subordinates, weaponry and whatnot, with mine added to it once I reincarnate you. Your memories and ours within you will also remain intact. A good deal, isn't it?" Rimuru said.
"You are really acting out of character with that last line. Nevertheless, what's the catch?" Akira said.
"Well, the fact that you don't really have a say in the matter anymore." Rimuru with a smug tone.
"Huh?!" Akira shouted as his eyes widened.
Rimuru chuckled as part of his body was starting to decompose and fuse with Akira's, "That's the most emotion I've seen out of you. Hopefully this will be worth it for you." Rimuru said before he was fully fused with Akira and Akira vanished from the Void, his body being erased to make way for a new one.
