"And why on god's green earth do you think that this is a wonderful idea?" Klaus questioned his sister who just proposed idea of throwing a party as a sign of his daughter coming home.
"Honestly I didn't think much beyond us girls having a good time while shopping and complain about all the fuss you both have been making past week" The original confessed looking at Hayley and Natalie, The witch and werewolf shared a glance
"Lord knows we need a break from these two driving us crazy in the name of our 'safety'" Natalie said with a hint of smile.
"I was absolutely not joking when I said your safety is just as important as the child's" He eyed the three women in front of him "There are still people out there who wants to get rid of us for good"
"So we just sit back and hide? Never in a million years I thought you, The great Klaus Mikaelson, would suggest that" Natalie's blue eyes shone with challenge. He knew what she was doing, Pushing the right button to get what she wants. Klaus rolled his eyes "Do whatever" He mumbled, Not wanting to admit his defeat out and loud. Rebekah and Hayley grinned at the witch
"Do whatever" Natalie mocked him as soon as he left the room. "Come on then let's give your niece a proper welcome" She announced. The original, the witch and the hybrid knew it was gonna be a great day

"Dull" Rebekah commented as a random guy walked by the street and looked at Natalie
"Hideous" She remarked as another walked by, She glanced at Hayley
"Dreary" She said looking as another guy walked past them after she understood what was happening. The three of them laughed
"Don't you have plenty of these hanging in your closet for centuries?" Natalie questioned returning back to business, She glanced through the racks just as the werewolf quickly picked up a green silk full length dress.
"First of all, That is drop dead gorgeous, You are gonna try that right now. My brother will not be able to take his eyes of THAT" She smiled wickedly and motioned Hayley to the dressing room, Natalie raised her eyebrows at her comment, Not wanting to feel the little sting she was feeling in her heart. "And This my friend is the best think to distract myself when I have two brothers at home telling me to 'behave'"
"Try this one Bex" Natalie offered her friend a blue dress, Rebekah examined for a second "You actually have a good taste Nat, I am impressed" Rebekah smiled and excused herself to the dressing room.
Moments later Hayley and Rebekah came out with their new dress on. Natalie was speechless looking at the women infront of her. The dress Hayley wore complimented her hair and eyes, Rebekah's on the other hand, even though anything would suit her, Was even more perfect with the strapless dress that hit the ground in the most elegant way
"Do we have to wait till the party to were these, because you guys look absolutely gorgeous right now" Natalie complimented them
"Unfortunately so. Where is your dress?" Hayley asked her.
"I don't really think I need one. I mean this party is for the friends and family of the baby, I am neither. And I doubt that my presence will be appreciated by the father of the said child"
"Well, Screw him. As the mother of the child, I hereby officially invite you to the party tonight. I don't have a family of my own, I would like to consider you as my friend if it isn't much to ask" Hayley proposed, Rebekah smiled widely besides her, She was very glad that this bonding was happening, just like she wanted. "Now will you please try to pick a dress?" Natalie just nodded at the werewolf, Still trying to debate within herself whether it was a good idea.

The mansion was filled with people, people that were compelled, People who had no Idea what was going on. But no one complained as long as it brings up the lively feel in the mansion
"You know for someone who is not interested in this, You did an amazing job putting it together" Hayley commented looking down at people enjoying themselves as the smooth music occupied the background
"Bex was right, This was the best distraction and I am glad it turned out good" She lowered her attention to the couple that just walked in "I will be right back" She made her was down. She would be lying to herself if she didn't love what she was wearing, an elegant red dress that swept the floor as she walked down. She didn't see the look in the familiar blue eyes from far away, He stopped talking to Elijah the second she came into his view, He wanted to take his eyes of her, But it was as if his eyes wouldn't listen to his brain.
"If it isn't the forbidden love birds themselves" Natalie smiled at Marcel and Rebekah, He froze like he just saw a ghost "Hello Marcellus " She smiled sweetly
"No. No it can't be" Marcel whispered to himself before hugging the witch "Natalie freaking Parker!"
"Its Ava" She chuckled, welcoming his hug "Its Natalie Ava Parker"
"You know what I meant" He pulled back moments later "What brings you back to New Orleans?"
"The miracle baby" She said as a matter of fact
"Natalie, It's not what you think. The baby is not a t-"
"Threat, I know Marcel. I am here to help her" Natalie stopped him before he accuses her
"Him. I think you mean help him" Marcel gave her a knowing smile, Rebekah gladly joined.
"Of course she is her to help him, The whole world knows he isn't capable of thinking straight when needed most. The god sent us a savior" Rebekah chimed in.
"You are not my favorite person today" The witch threw the blonde vampire a look "I am not your favorite person any day" She shrugged
"Whatever, Its my fault, I walked right into this" Natalie shook her head and walked away, She let herself settle down by the bar keeping her focus on the crowd. Her eyes fell over a certain hybrid in one of his expensive suits, He looked incredibly handsome and she could see the glint of mischief in his eyes along with something else when he looked up at her. "No, No do not do that to me. Not again" She whispered to her heart, earning a slight chuckle from the brunet next to her
"So... I know its none of my business but what's the matter with you and Klaus?" Hayley questioned drowning a drink, Klaus unconsciously let himself listen their conversation ignoring the crowd and noise he was surrounded by
"Was actually. There is no him and I anymore" She stated 'You know that's a lie' a voice in her head whispered "I once trusted him, With my life and that was a mistake. One I would never make again" She said out loud, Convincing her and her friend "I need some air, Sorry" She excused herself before going outside, Tears, That's what all she felt. She couldn't stop her sobs and this time she wasn't going to stop
"Hey, You okay?" A random girl who was standing outside asked Natalie. For a second, The witch looked up and examined her "I think I am gonna be" Natalie looked into the stranger's eyes "Please don't make a sound or move. It only makes it worse" She compelled her as she felt her fangs and the dark veins under her eyes made themselves known. Natalie knew the girl wanted to scream and run like her life depended on it because it did, But at that moment, she didn't care. Her teeth pierced the delicate skin on the girl's neck, the familiar metallic taste filled her senses and she couldn't stop herself from getting more, She could feel the girl in her arm slowly losing her conscious but she wanted this, She needed this and didn't care about anything else
"Natalie, Stop!" A voice broke behind her, She didn't dare to turn back, The pair of strong arms ripped her away from the girl, She could hear the person compelling the girl to forget it all, healing her. But none of it entered her mind as she was too blinded by the taste, by the huger. 'You are back to being that monster' A voice in the back of head whispered to her again.
