Ajey's P.O.V:

Damn. Anyone who thinks that being a content creator is an easy job should once get into our shoes and then jump to conclusions.

Sure, you get the privilege of being your own boss here, but you cannot be fully independent, though. Now, look at me! Here I am in my car (which is being driven by Yash, by the way) on my way to Lucknow with my family for an event. Okay, it is actually a good event but you cannot deny that this is so tiresome! Like bruh, I'll have to run towards stages as if I am in a marathon.

The good part about this event is that I might get an award in a category for which I'm nominated. The bad part is if I win an award, I would have to speak to the people on stage and then to those in the audience, through the podium.

How will I-?
Anxiety-?
I'll faint I-?
Fuck.

But let me tell you, this event ain't no joke or a small deal. And that's exactly why my family is here. Just in case, their beloved son wins the award, they should be present their to witness that rare proud moment. Wow.

And this is why I fear public speaking. There will be so many people in front of whom I'll have to do the fake "gratefulness" shenanigans and those poor people would also have to applaud at my fake speech. Great.

I'll seriously faint over there! Thank God my mother's here with me because I surely need a doctor, just in case if I face a medical emergency during this tour.

You never know if I faint there or even get a heart attack-

I guess I'm gonna get a heart attack, right now, right here! Thanks to my mighty of the mightiest brother.

-"Ye konsa tareeka hai break lagane ka bey?"
I said, breathing heavily after that life-threatening break my brother pulled.

-"Language, Ajey."
Maa said to me.

Inke alag hi chochle hain.

-"Atleast break lagana toh aata hai mujhe, tujhe toh wo bhi nhi aata so you can respectfully shut up."
Yash replied as he scoffed at my question.

-"Excuse me??!! That break could have costed ya'll my life!"
I exclaimed.

-"Stop overreacting, Ajey. The break wasn't even that harsh."
My father said.

-"Dekha..."
Yash said as he looked at me sarcastically with the famous "my eyes on you" gesture one does with their index and middle finger, and opened the car's door, leaving the seat.

Okay, maybe I was actually overreacting. I was so lost in my own world of overthinking that the break Yash pulled felt so threatening and harsh to me.

He stopped the car in front of a roadside restaurant to get some water and order the ever-so-important, survival drink; chai along with some snacks.
Well it's been quite a few hours since we left home and according to Yash, he now needed a "break" from driving.

Ajeeb pagal aadmi hai. Driving se break kon leta hai?
I thought to myself.

-"Jis din gaadi chalana sikhega uss din ye bolna..."
Papa said out of nowhere.
