During Net practice,
Siraj and Suyash were practicing together.
Siraj by mistake bowled a bouncer which hit Suyash right on the chest

Shrey from the next net asked her if she was fine.

Fortunately she had worn her guards which lowered the impact.

Siraj comes up to her and says, "Choti tayyar rehna aise balls ke liye, Maine kal Rabada aur Ngidi ko nets me bouncers dalte hue dekha tha."
(Kiddo be prepared for such deliveries, I saw Rabada and Ngidi bowl bouncers in the net yesterday.)

Coach warned Siraj for that but Siraj didn't mind it.

~After the practice~

It was the third test match of South Africa vs India.

KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal to open.

They had a 64 run partnership.
KL Rahul got hit on the shoulder by Ngidi's Bouncer. The next ball Rahul got out.

Mayank, Virat and Pujara got out one after the other.
Till tea the score was 84/4
Suyash and Shreyas were on the field.
Shrey scored 20 on 38 balls
Suyash had 40 on 79 balls.
Day 1 ended

Shrey and Suyash had a great partnership of 135 runs.

Suyash at this point had tackled about 3 bouncer deliveries.
Who knew the next one would be fatal af.

Ngidi to Suyash.
It came right to his chin. It started bleeding. Luckily it was just a cut on the chin.
Shrey got seriously worried as Suyash was taken to the Medicube.

Dr. Nakul Chand accompanied her.
She got 2 Stitches.
She was ruled out of that match.
The match ended in draw still 'Suyash's performance was good.

Shrey was very worried but he couldn't be with her at that moment.
Soon after the match ended, he ran to her.
She was in their room. She had her chin bandaged.
He carefully kept her hand on her chin caressing her.

One man was peeking from the door(not on purpose).

He gave a small smile, proud looking one and went away.

(Guess who the man was in the comments)

He asked her if it hurts? In a sweet and soft tone.

"Dukhega nahi to kya acha lagega?"
(Will it feel nice?) She said.

Shrey : "Mera vo matlab nahi tha..."
(I didn't mean it that way)

Suddenly her phone rang.
It was Abhyuday.

Abhu:
Zinda hai tu?
(Are you alive)

Shruti:
Tujhe laga itna jaldi picha chod dugi tera?
(You thought I'll leave you alone so soon?)

Abhu:
Mujhe laga nikal li, kaafi zor se lagi thi vo ball.
(I thought you went up, that ball was quite strong)

Shru:
Tu soyega nahi to Teri mummy tujhe nikal degi! Ghar se! So jaa.
(If you don't go to sleep right now, your mother will kick you! Out of the house. Go to bed)

Abhu:
Shreyas Bhai hai kya udhar? Phone de unko.
(Is Shreyas around, I want to talk to him.)

Shru:
Hai to sahi, par kya kaam hai?
(He's here, but what do you wanna talk to him about?)

Abhu:
Tu de na.
(Give him the phone)

Shrey:
Hello.

Abhu:
Usko chocolates boht pasand hai! Uska favourite colour blue hai,Kpop kdramas ki deewani hai, fav film Baseball girl.
Uske baare me basic information.
Aapko phele hi bata raha hu kyuki chinta karta hu aapki. Acha Banda hu bhul mat jana. Agar info kaam ki hai to ek autograph de dena..... please.
(She loves chocolates. Her fav colour is blue. She enjoys kdramas and kpop, her favourite film is 'baseball girl'. This is some basic information about her. I'm a good guy don't forget.. if the information was useful, please give me an autograph)

Shrey:
*burst out laughing*
Pakka Bhai pakka,
autograph kya selfie bhi le Lena.

Abhu:
Aur ek boht important baat bata raha hu, us bhalu ko mat batana.
(One more important thing I'm telling you, don't tell that bear)

Shruti found Shrey's expression suspicious so she turned on the speaker.

Abhyuday continued:
Uske samne uske Papa ke baare me -

Shru hung up as soon as she heard the word 'papa'.
Shreyas got curious he asked her
"Kya hua, cut kyu kiya?"
(What happened why did you hang up?)

She didn't reply. She stepped out of the room for some fresh air.
As she was going down she saw Ruturaj Gaikwad and Venkatesh Iyer. She realised that the ODI team is here.(after their quarantine)
Rutu hugged her as soon as he saw her.
They knew eachother cause they both played for Maharashtra.

She also saw Shikhar standing right behind Rutu.

He hugged her too.

She always thought of Shikhar as her father figure.

The next day.
Shikhar was on a video call with Zoravar.
Suddenly Shruti came from behind and gave him a scare. Both Zoravar and Shikhar screamed.
'Like father Like son.'

Zoravar asked her, "Yash bhaiya ye aapko chehre par kya hua?"
(What's happened to your face?)
(Refering to the bandage)

Shikhar told Zoravar about that match.
To which he replied,
"Papa yashu bhaiya ko kissi de do jaise mujhe diya tha, jaldi thik ho jayega"
(Father, give brother Yash a kiss on the wound like you gave me the last time, it'll heal up soon.)

Both of them laughed it off.
