I wake up in the morning to Ziggy smacking me with her pillow.

"Haha, revenge." She smirked. I groan and throw my head back into my pillow.

"What, were you having a good dream or something?" She asks. "No, I was sleeping really good." I reply.

"Ok, well get up because the morning bell rung about 5 minutes ago." The red head informs me. I nod my head before throwing my blankets off and getting out of bed.

We head down to the mess hall for breakfast after fixing ourselves up a little bit.

For breakfast, they are giving us some choices between different cereals. Lucky charms, fruit loops, and frosted flakes. Obviously, being the child I am, I choose Lucky charms. I really do like the marshmallows, but the actual cereal is good too.

Ziggy sits beside me and we eat mostly in silence, both of us very tired.

I gaze around the room when I catch Nick staring at me. He smiles at me so I give him a small smile back.

Once breakfast is over, we're told that today is a free day for all the campers. Ziggy and I decide to go back to the cabin and hang out there for a while.

Im reading and she's cleaning up around her half of the room when there's a knock on the door.

I get up to answer it, while Ziggy looks up but quickly focuses back on what she was doing. I open the door revealing a grinning brunette boy.

"Oh hey Nick." I smile at him. "Hi Lyla. Since campers are free today, I was thinking that maybe we could hang out or something? Unless you're doing something now.." He trailed off at the end.

"Oh I was just reading and she was cleaning. I would love to hang out but I'm not leaving Ziggy alone so.. Oh and I thought counselors would have some duties or something." I answered.

"Some of us do but I don't today. And I don't care if Ziggy comes, I was just bored and you're the very opposite of boring." He chuckles.

"Ooh yes!! I want to go swimming let's do that." Ziggy says from somewhere behind me. "Also do you know if Cindy works today?" She adds.

"Uh, no. Cindy had no duties today." He answers. "Ok great, I'll go get her, you two get ready to go to the lake." She says, scooting past us to get out of the cabin.

"Ok I'll meet you by the lake in a few minutes." He says, walking out. I shut the door behind him and walk to find a bathing suit.

I put a two piece baby blue bikini, obviously respecting dress code still. Ziggy comes back and changes, too. She wears a one piece lime green bathing suit.

We meet Nick and Cindy by the lake.

"You look beautiful, Lyla." Nick smiled. I feel my cheeks go pink. "Thank you Nick." I smile back.

"Last one in the water is a loser!" Ziggy shouts, which causes all 4 of us to take off running.

Nick gets there first, then Ziggy, then me, then Cindy. Nick rubs it in our faces which causes me to push him jokingly. He laughs and says that we're just jealous that we're not as fast as him.

"Whatever. Y'all wanna play a game?" I asked them. They all said sure so I said Never Have I Ever. They all agreed to that.

"Instead of how this game is usually played, if you have done what the person says, you have to go under the water for 5 seconds. I'll start. Never have I ever crashed my bike into a tree." I say, dunking myself under since I have done this. I see Nick go under, too.

"Ok Im next. Never have I ever cried about having to go to the doctor or dentist." Cindy says, causing Ziggy and I to go under, too. We all used to do that.
