Chapter Three

After a few days Elena started to feel nauseous and she had no clue why so she just called Caroline and she went and hung at her house. So why do you feel sick again? Caroline asked and Elena just sighed while shaking her head. I dont know.. She mumbled as Caroline took something out of her bathroom cabinet. Whats that? Elena asked. A pregnancy test. Youre going to use it. All you do is pee on the stick then wait 5 minutes for the results. Caroline told her as she handed her the stick and Elena walked into the bathroom and she peed on the stick.

Once she came back out, she waited with Caroline for the results. After 5 minutes she flipped the stick over and there were two lines. Oh my god.. Caroline said with excitement. What is it? Elena asked, not knowing what two lines meant. Youre pregnant!! Caroline squealed and hugged her best friend while Elena just stared at the wall knowing that it was Kols baby. Oh no.. Elena said as tears filled her eyes knowing that Kol would probably not want anything to do with the baby.

Wait whats wrong? Arent you happy? Its Stef- Caroline started then she stopped herself knowing that vampires can't procreate. Who's the father? Caroline asked as Elena was having a full on mental breakdown. Y-You arent g-going t-to like w-what I s-say.. Elena said, looking at Caroline with tears in her eyes. I wont be mad at you, I just need to know who the father is. she said as Elena took a deep breath.

Its Kols.. Elena said, looking at the ground while being disappointed in herself. Suddenly Caroline pulled Elena into a hug. I dont care if its his, all I care about is that youre happy. And I also think you should keep the baby, but you have to tell him that its his, you can't lie about it. Caroline said taking Elenas hands helped her get up. Now let's go get some ice cream to celebrate. Caroline smiled as Elena was shocked that Caroline actually was going to support her in this.

Youre such a great friend.. Please dont tell Bonnie yet, I need to tell her on my own, also dont tell Damon or Stefan, they might get very mad.. Elena said as Caroline brought her downstairs. So since Kol is a Tribrid, and you are actually a witch, does that mean that the baby will be a Tribrid? Caroline asked as she got the ice cream out and Elena sat on the counter. Probably.. But I hope that my baby wont be a demon like Kol usually is.. Elena said while shaking her head as Caroline got her ice cream while Elena looked through the cabinets for sprinkles and strawberry and chocolate sauce for the ice cream when she spotted a huge bag of chips.

Mmmm soo good.. Elena moaned as Caroline looked at her. Hey! Im making you ice cream! Caroline said, shaking her head as Elena took the ice cream from Caroline and started eating the ice cream and the chips all at the same time when someone knocked on the door and Caroline went to answer it and it was Klaus, and of course Klaus had to come in. Oh hey there crazy Hybrid. Elena said jokingly while trying to slow down the eating so Klaus wasnt suspicious. Ice cream and chips? Its only 9 in the morning. He said, shaking his head as Elena got down from the counter and that's when Klaus started hearing the other heart beat and his eyes wandered to Elenas stomach.

Howd that happen? Klaus asked and Elena looked at him. What happened? she asked while trying to be clueless. Are you pregnant? Which Salvatore is it? Klaus asked with a smirk as Elena teared up while getting scared because she thought Klaus would try to hurt her to get the answer out so then Elena ran back up to Carolines room and she quickly locked the door and hid in her closet.

Okay, one Im not telling you either so you better not even try. Plus please dont tell anyone about this, another hint it isn't a Salvatore's baby. Caroline said as she headed upstairs and Klaus followed her. Elena, dear I promise I wont hurt you. Klaus said as Caroline unlocked the door then they walked into her room and Elena came out of the closet. Fine Klaus Ill tell you who it is.. Its Kols baby. Elena stated looking down at her feet while Klaus was still trying to process how that couldve happened.

And I dont want you to tell him, or anyone.. Please.. Elena said, looking at Klaus as he nodded slowly while processing the information he was given. You should tell him. Klaus said as Elena and Caroline sat down on the bed. I know, but I also know that he probably wont want to be a part of this childs life. she said, sighing as she laid down. Well Ive known Kol all my life and he would kill to have his own child, even if he doesnt show it. Klaus said as the doorbell rang.

Ill go get it. Caroline said before she vamped to the door and she opened it and there stood Kol Mikaelson. What do you want? she asked, about to slam the door in his face. Hmm, can I come in darling? Im pretty sure my brother is here right now. Kol said with an evil smirk on his face and Caroline had no choice but to let him come in.

Woah isnt it only like 9 in the morning? Whos binging and getting fat? You? Friends? Kol asked as Caroline led him to her room. It was from last night. Caroline lied smoothly as Kol stared at Elena with a huge smirk on his face. Hello Nik. Kol said, turning to his brother Klaus. Why are you here, Kol? Klaus asked as he got up. Would ask the same question to you, but I think youre probably here to have sex with Caroline. I mean I wouldnt blame you, but I think her best friend is hotter. Kol smirked as he said the last part because he knew that Elena was right there.

Caroline can we go get some food? Im hungry. Elena said as she got up and walked past Kol and into the hallway. Yeah of course Lena, Ill be right out. Caroline said as Elena made her way to the car. So why are you both here again? Caroline asked as she grabbed her bag. We were wondering if we could join you? Klaus asked politely and Caroline smiled as Kol rolled his eyes.

Sure why not. We are just going to just go to the Grill but you two are welcomed. Caroline said as she walked out to the car while Kol and Klaus followed then Caroline got into the car and then she started driving to the Grill and when they got there Elena walked in while smelling the delicious foods.

What would you like to order darling? Itll be on me. Kol said with a smirk as Elena sat down at the bar while Caroline and Klaus were looking around for spots. Umm two burgers- no make that three burgers.. Two large fries.. Hmm and some ice cream. Elena said with a smile before going to sit down at the table with Klaus and Caroline. So what should we get? Caroline asked as Kol came back over to the table with four alcoholic drinks and he put one in front of Caroline, then Klaus, himself, and then finally he put one in front of Elena.

Uhm I dont drink.. Elena said as she slowly pushed the drink away. Why not? I saw you drinking at the party? Oh I know, you dont like this kind. Waitress! A vodka please. Kol said while smirking as the waitress brought over a bottle of vodka and a few glasses and Kol poured Elenas glass just as the food came.

She started to get scared because she didnt want to upset him so he picked up the glass and put it to her lips about to take a drink but then Caroline snatched the glass away. She really isnt supposed to be drinking, it could do something to her body and such. Caroline said as Elena started stuffing her face with food just as Damon Salvatore walked into the building.
