Sri who was watching everything said "This is not correct Sivu, I don't know what is the problem, but very sure what you are doing is not the solution" and got up to go to class. "Ne varalaya" asked Sri. Sivu was quiet and looked confused, she was not been able to be the same since she heard that name. "Na varala ne po" said Sivu and got up, she started walking towards the garden area near their college food court. Sri could not figure out anything, but all she wanted was her friend and AK to be happy, without having any choice, she left to class. Sivu plugged in her earphones and started listening to songs, she was seated on a stone bench under a tree, in the farthest corner where no one could notice her. She fell asleep without her knowledge, a sudden warmth she felt near woke her up, she realized she was sleeping on someone's shoulder with his arms around her, she jerked for a second and moved away quickly. "Shhhhh its me" said AK and placed his finger on her mouth.

"Why are you here" asked Sivu and her voice trembled, she was very angry, hurt but could not express anything, she got up to leave without waiting for an answer. "rmba busy ah irukinga madam, why are you avoiding me Sivu" asked AK and his voice broke, his eyes glistened. Sivu not able to face him, turned away to leave. He held her hand and pulled her to face him, she looked down avoiding his eyes. He lifted her face "Ennachu ma, na enna thappu pannen, please you too don't leave me" tears rolled down his cheeks, she too had tears in her eyes, which shocked him. He was not sure what happened or what he did that made her upset. He just want her to smile. He did not talk anything and hugged her.

Sivu wanted to push him away but she could not do that, she was avoiding him because of this, she knows she cannot be angry on him when he is near, she knows he is her weakness and she cannot even see him sad, how can she hurt him. She hugged him back, she realized how much she missed him, she was the one avoiding him but that did hurt her too. "Who is Priya Kumareyyy" whispered Sivu. AK loosened the hold and looked into her eyes, with a shock. "Who is Priya" asked Sivu, this time with a stern tone. AK was quiet and sat on the bench. Sivu too sat near him and was looking at him sharply, he understood she for sure needs an answer and is very serious. He did not want to ask how she knew, she is his girl and she has all rights to be a part of everything in his life, be it his bitter past or present or future. He decided to tell her everything and let go of the guilt, he was holding on for so long.

He cleared his throat. "Priya is my best friend, my girlfriend" Sivu narrowed her eyes, "ex...ex-girlfriend" he corrected. "After I lost my parents, I did not have anyone except my paternal aunt and Varma uncle, being an introvert I did not have many close friends to console me, I would sit alone in school most of the time, that's when she joined my school, as her father got transferred here, fortunately or unfortunately her family chose the house opposite to mine, we became neighbors too. She sat near me, not sure what she even saw in me. I am a very boring person, she will bring lunch for me, pull me into any celebration, she will give my name in any stage plays, she took right over me and I liked it very much. I too started opening up only to her. I became so much dependent on her. She is brilliant in studies, she is topper of our class in the final board exams and even got medical seat". "Oh Doctor" said an excited Sivu, AK noticed her keenly listening to his story like a kid, he was surprised and smiled at his girlfriend's weird behavior, she will get possessive at times, but she will happily listen to her boyfriend's love story too. He was admiring her with all this thoughts running through his mind. Sivu tapped him "Hello" and brought him back to senses. "Enga vitten" he scratched his eyebrow. "Doctor Doctor" said Sivu still in same position and excited eyes.

"haan, I am a studious boy too but not up to her level, I joined Engineering and that's when I met Sarath. He is the only one still with me from my past..." his voice broke a little but he managed. "We three hanged out most of the times and that was the happiest days of my life, it was third year of our college"

It was Priya's engagement, being her close friend since childhood, he must be very happy right now, but all he could feel was a weird pain in his heart. He did not want to show anything to her, as he knows she will be affected the most and she will even fight the world if that is the reason for him to be sad. "Mapla veetla ellam vantanga, sekiram va ma" called Priya's mother, hearing that he could not control anymore and a drop of tear escaped his eyes. He immediately wiped it off and put up a fake smile, but she was too quick to notice, being with him for more than 10 years, she could easily figure out if he put up a fake smile by now. She asked "Ennachu". "Onnu illa ne po amma kupdranga" said AK. "Oh solla maata apa, seri na pola" she said and started removing her jewel, he knows she is very much capable of pulling any stunt and she won't fear anyone. He stopped her. "I feel weird Priya, na unna miss pannuven, enaku ne poita aprm epdi vazhanumnu kuda theriyadhu, I just want you by my side always, Its just me being the most selfish person" said AK and left the place. Priya was left in shock.

AK came back to his house and was standing in balcony of his room looking into the sky, his heart was beating really fast, he knows what he did was so selfish and wrong as a friend. She deserved a supportive friend in her engagement, which she have been for him for more than 10 years. He hit himself for his behavior. He turned to the sound of someone clearing their throat, he was shocked to see Priya standing there wearing a normal skirt and top with a messy bun, without any makeup. She walked up to the chair and sat there, without telling anything she opened the chips packet she was carrying and started eating it. "Priyaaa" AK was shocked and sat in a chair near her. She offered the chips to him, he was still in shock and not sure why she is here and feared what happened to her engagement, for a moment he even thought its his imagination. "Venama" said Priya and continued to eat her chips.

"Engagement?" he asked. Priya let out a sigh and said "I cancelled it"
