14. HIS LETTER

I rushed to washroom and wore a pad. Now I have to wear this jacket the whole day just because of a 3-4 cm of red blood stain. I came out and went to the canteen to check if they were still there. Everyone had left except Rose and Jimin but there was a huge crowd at the corner of the canteen, it was mostly girls and some boys pulling girls.

Rosè came to me while Jimin went to keep their plates. She came and swung hands around me on my shoulder.

"Yah, I want to tell you something." She said with excitement.

"What is it?" I also asked in a excited voice.

"Are you coming with me?" Jimin asked Rosè.

"I will come with her." She said as she patted my shoulder. He nodded and went.

"Now tell me what is it." I said with the same excitement.

"I think Jimin likes me." As she said that my face turned into a bored one.

"Are you not happy for me? Do you also have a crush on him? I thought you are my true friend." She said in a single go.

"Really? You wanted to tell me this?" I said.

"Yes." She said in a sad tone.

"You dumb fellow. You didn't know this? Everyone knows it." I said. She made an '○' face.

"Now let's go." I said and we went to our class.

Rosè sat with Jimin as expected. I went to my seat and Jungkook wasn't there. I sat and removed my notebook for taking down notes and pouch to take out a pen to write the notes. Teacher wasn't there. Jack was sitting with his friend in the other row so, Lisa can sit behind me.

Few minutes later, the teacher came with a student specifically Jungkook. Jungkook's head was hung-low. He came and sat beside me. Then Misa, her side chicks and Lisa came. They always wear the same kind of outfit just with different designs and patterns. A polo crop top and a short pleated skirt, it's always the same. Lisa's fashion sense is different. It's good. Jungkook was late but why?

"Why are you late?" I asked him.

"Uhh-- Actually, after you went to washroom. Someone told me that you called me so, I went to the corner. But were not there, in just a few minutes everyone started shouting and all. I don't know why. Then Mr. Kang came and dragged me out of there. Do you know why this happened." He asked and explained me.

"That's chaotic and hectic. There were there, right?" I asked pointing at Misa and her chicks beside her.

"Yes, how do you know that?" He asked suprised. I smirked at his reaction.

"You are new here but I am not." I said.

"Now tell me why." He asked while shaking my arm.

"Okay Okay. That day when we were playing basketball. After the match you were looking really good and that makes you the POPULAR BOY of the school. On top of that you played really well and also you are not bad at studies. You are also good friends with Park Jimin the other POPULAR BOY of school. That's the reason." I explained him.

"Oh so, you think I am really handsome." He said while smirking and leaning on me. I pushed him.

"Wha-what no. It's about the other girls there." I said. I cursed myself for stuttering.

"Don't deny. I am used to it." He said leaving me confused because he just came and became popular few days ago so, how is he used to it. Seeing my confused face he replied.

"Before coming here. I was POPULAR in my place. I had to leave it." He said.

"Okay. But be careful. She is not only mean but a type of playgirl also." I said.

"Aww. Thanks for worrying about me." He said and it caught me off guard. I didn't say anything and started writing notes. The period was over. I read the notes I had written in the class.

Y/n's day went by writing notes and ignoring Jungkook a bit. They both went home but not together.

At home

I took a bath and washed Jungkook's jacket. I wore my pyjamas and went in the kitchen. I went to the fridge and took out 2 chocolates, one for me and other for Bun. I went to the living room where Bun was watching Boss baby. I sat on the sofa beside Bun and put on Shinchan. I still like Shinchan and Bun also likes it.

We watched 1 movie and 3 episodes of Shinchan when I heard the doorbell ring. I thought it was Jungkook but he has the house's key with him. I opened the door and saw the mailman. He gave a me an envelope, who writes letters these days, I thought.

I saw the name, it was from Jung Hoseok. As I read the name, tears were brimming in my eyes. I wanted to read the letter but due to my ethics, I didn't.
