That night you sat in Ron's bed reading The Quibbler , while Harry and Ronald were playing another round of chess.

"What the hell are wrackspurts?"

"Apparently some creature that goes in your ears and makes your brain fuzzy." Ron says moving his Rook to e4.

"I've never heard of that ever before ." You say reading more into the article about them.

"I have a headache , you think it's those shits?" Harry says taking his glasses of leaving them aside as he moves his pawn to b3.

Ron snorts. "Possible but you'd need special glasses to see them. " He steals harry's pawn with his Knight.

"You seem to know this thing by heart. I didn't know you read."You grin .

"Well I don't but , it's Lunas , it's more interesting than the whole school book set . It's mad , but it's very interesting." He says smirking . Silence falls between the boys before Harry retrieves and pays Ron with a handshake.

"I'm going for a walk ." He says getting up stepping on his glasses.

"Well done on that." You laugh silently.

"Ugh. Oculus Reparo." The broken glasses quickly mended themselves before Harry put them on.

"I love magic." He smiles and walks out of the room.

You chuckle slightly and go back to your reading.

Although you didn't understand much of the magazine ,it was indeed very interesting, introducing you to new things you'd never heard of.

A second later , you felt Ron sit next to you looking into the magazine. You went to turn pages but he stopped you for a second with his finger , allowing himself to finish a sentence he was reading , before letting you turn page .

"I thought you had read this already?" You say turning page .

"Yeah? I don't remember everything in here . " He says looking down at you. You roll your eyes and continue reading.

"Hey so you know whats in the 31st right?" He says softly.

"Uh.. the last day of July?" You say not paying much attention .

"Well yeah but , it's Harry's birthday too , so we thou-"

"Oh my god how did I forget about that!"

"Well , mum and dad will be out of the house that day , so we can arrange a surprise birthday party for him."

"Ron that's brilliant , what- how are we going to do this?" You close the magazine intrigued by your conversation more.

"Well , George has took over the decorations along with Fred , Hermione wanted to bake a cake with Ginny , they're also going to send letters to some friends you know." He said slumping down lower so his face was at your level.

"What are we going to do then?" You ask .

"Well we can prepare the rest , the snacks and drinks , oh and everyone else has already gotten Harry a gift so if you need to get one , you can join me tomorrow, I'm going to diagon alley . "

"Okay yeah , awesome ." You smile excitedly. You havent been there in ages.

"What are you thinking of getting him?" You ask Ron.

"I'm not sure yet , maybe some quiddich equipment, or school supplies . I'll see Tomorrow. You?"

" Well I was hoping you'd help me , I dont know much about boys."
