Sweat, scurried down my forehead. I looked over my shoulder and saw the horde of walkers, still chasing after me. I began to run faster, than I was before. As I began to lose the horde, I tripped over a large rock. Shit.

I quickly tried to lift myself off the ground, but I was unsuccessful. I screamed for help, closely watching the walkers get near my shaking body. I reached for my gun, but I forgot I had dropped, when I first discovered the horde.

"This is it," I whispered to myself. I screamed once more, as a walker grabbed my foot. It had its mouth open, ready to bite my hurt foot, but lucky me, a bullet went through its decayed skull.

I turned my head to look behind me and saw a boy about my age. He ran to my small body and lifted me up. I looked at his face and gave him a warm smile, thanking him. I started to limp my way back to a safe place. I was okay for the first two steps, but I almost fell.

The boy must've noticed, because he looked at me with reassuring eyes. "Do you need help?" He asked, a smile on his lip. I nodded. He helped me put my arm around his shoulders.

"I have a group," He suddenly said, after 15 minutes of walking. My attention quickly turned to him. "Do you want to join us?"

"Are you sure?" I asked, already feeling safe. I'll have a group soon. Maybe my family is with them. "Yeah, sure." He replied. I wasn't sure though. What if his group doesn't like me? What if I don't fit in? Probably,I won't fit in. I'm useless, helpless. All I do best is keeping watch, but that's it.

That's why, I couldn't even get up, when the bitters tried to get me. "Okay," I whispered, barely audible. "What was that?" He teased. "Yes," I smiled. "I'll join your group."

"But, I don't even know your name." I turned my head to him. "Oh, sorry, I'm Carl Grimes. And your are?" He replied, a question following behind.

"I'm Ariel Greene." When I presented myself, he have me a weird look. "What? Do I have something on my face, or something?" I asked him, using my free hand to search for the possible something on my face.

"No, it's just," He hesitated, before continuing. "There's a family in my group with the same last name."

"Really?" I half yelled. "What are they're names?" Maybe I was right. Maybe my family's there. "There's, Hershel, Maggie and Beth." Maybe I was right? The hell with that. I was right. My family. I'll see them soon.
