"Hi Michael, I'm Isabelle," I said hesitantly. I don't want to get him any hint of how much I like him since grade 1 when we were batchmates, but I bet he must be long forgotten the boring bookworm Isabelle.
"You good?" He asked, maybe he saw that reluctance in my voice.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied. I paused for a moment and asked him a random question to hide my overflowing emotions "Michael, aren't you with your friends?"
