Chapter 2

Camilo's POV:

I opened the door expecting to see Maribel "Hi Marib-" I stopped to look at the pretty stranger standing next to her "whos this" I asked I could feel my face heating up but why? "Hi! I'm y/n my parents own the shoe shop in the center of town" she said as she held out her hand. I was so nervous that I just stood there like an idiot staring at her, finally, I got out of my trans and blurted out "Hi I'm Camilo chica" while shaking her hand god I was so stupid. I felt like hours went by until Maribel said "are you gonna let us through Camilo and your still holding y/n's hand" feeling embarrassed I let them through. why was I acting like this?

Y/N's pov:

"Come to the family room ill introduce you to everyone" Maribel said I was excited but pretty nervous at the same time when we entered the room I felt all eyes on me. "Hey guys this is my friend y/n I just wanted to introduce her to everyone" Maribel said excitedly. "Oh this a great!" Maribel's Abuela said, "another person to have around the house!" I was introduced to each of her family members they were all really nice. Then Camilo walked in "that's Camilo you already met him, come on let's go hang out in the kitchen" Maribel said.

We walked over to the kitchen/dining table it was actually really big (way bigger than my house!) after a long time of joking and having fun Maribel had to go grab something from her room so I was alone in the kitchen. I started looking at some of the pictures on the wall "great pictures aren't they?" I jumped at the noise, it was Camilo. "Oh sorry, you startled me" I chuckled "And yeah they are really nice" "Is that you?" I said pointing at a little boy with curly hair and the same hazel brown eyes in an old family picture. "Yeah heh seems like I still have the same Guapo (handsome) looks" I rolled my eyes but as I was putting my hand down I knocked over a heavy decorative rock from the shelf it landed on my leg I yelped and fell back on Camilo.

He caught my back with both of his hands he was so close that I could feel his shiny damp hair hitting my face and his breath which warmed me, I started to blush. I jumped up "Dios Mio I'm so sorry Camilo" he stared at me looking flushed in red I was about to say something to get myself out of the awkward situation until I felt a thumping pain in my leg "owwww" I groaned "oh my gosh ill get my tia" Camilo said in a panic. They quickly returned, Julieta rushed to the fridge and got some food she shoved it down my throat and I sorta felt better but I was still too weak to walk home so Julieta told CAMILO to walk me home. Maribel protested against it but her mother told her she had chores to do. Just. my. Luck.

We started walking home... "Is your leg okay?" he said awkwardly but also looking genuinely concerned. "Yeah, it's fine" I lied I wondered why Julieta's food didn't work. Camilo shot me a suspicious look "no it's not" he said locking arms to keep me steady. "Thanks, i guess i don't want to be a burden on anyone" we finally arrived home "well um thanks for dropping me off ill be fine" I said "no problem Hermosa" he said with a wink. I gasped "there goes that cringe personality again" I laughed. "See ya around" he said with a smile and I went inside.

"Hey mama hey papa" y/n said as she placed down her stuff her mother and father greeted her "you were out long that boy seemed nice who is he?" Her father asked with an eyebrow up "no one it was Maribel's cousin Camilo it's nothing." y/n said until she caught herself blushing. Her mother looked up from the stove suddenly looking interested in the conversation "Wow! Look at our hija! Going outttt, making friendssss." y/n rolled her eyes "it was probably a one-time thing mom I can never last with friends plus I bet camilos a jerk he flirts with every girl in town" "whatever you say y/n" her mother said as she made a look that y/n knew meant her mom was up to something. Goodnight guys I'm tired y/n said as she went up the stairs.

Idk if this chapter is exciting at all but I'm starting chapter 3 rn!
