You slid down your ladder closing the hatch. You threw your items sloppily in their places and threw your backpack on your bed. "I'm really going to hang out with the 2 coolest ppl in ooo. Do you know what this means hotdog dood!? " You asked excitedly checking myself in a broken mirror. "mhmhmmmfph?" Hotdog dood said muffled still in your bag. "It means I might actually have a chance to mean something. I could be a hero instead of like how my home was... " You sighed sitting on your bed and grabbing hotdog dood out the backpack. "You know dude... Where I come from it's not as fun as this. We eat you guys for lunch sometimes." You said laughing but hotdog dood didn't enjoy the joke." I won't eat you! I just meant there's no magic. It's pretty boring there... " You dragged your hands over your face. "But that's okay since this is now my new life!" You stood up enthusiastically and went grab some clothes and some extra things and went change. (It's gonna be chilly tonight) you grabbed a hoodie that you got from raggedy princess. Who knew she was a merchant part-time. You didn't obviously. Since it was almost time you decided to bring them a nice housewarming gift... On the way there. You smelled something so delicious, you practically floated there. You saw a shack with a poorly drawn sandwich on it. You walk up to the little window and see a life-sized ant. You see him flipping grilled cheese sandwiches (if lactose then they're regular sandwiches being toasted). You get really excited bc you found a gift and a snack before going to the treehouse. "How much are they? Mr. Sir?" You said grabbing your money bag. "5 gold coins each." It said not looking away from the grill. "Okay! Is this enough?" You give him a handful of gold, silvers, and some dollars. " This is fine..." He grabs your money faster than light and you have 3 face-sized sandwiches in your hands. "Hey, thanks...." When you looked up from the sandwiches the shack was gone. "Hopefully I don't die eating this..." You put the other two in your bag and took hotdog guy out of his jar. You both shared the first bit together. Over your snack. You look at the map. You were taking a detour to hotdog princesses' kingdom to drop off her guard. He's fully healed and lost a little of his stupid. He can even hold longer conversations.
Time skip to the treehouse
After you dropped off hotdog dood, you chatted ab his improvements with hp. She mentioned taking the others in, but that was obviously your cue to go.
You're at the front door and kinda wish you stalled longer. You knocked on the door and unconsciously held your breath. When the door opened you were greeted with a bright smile and the same ocean blue eyes. "Hey." You both said at the same time. "Are you guys ready?" You asked Finn. "Not yet we're just waiting for jake." He said as he invited you in. "Well, I brought you guys these sandwiches and i-" you were immediately cut off by jake. " Sandwiches you say... " You handed him and he thoroughly examines it. He sniffed it so hard you were sure it would've gone up to his nose. As soon as he took the first bite a tear formed in his eye. "I love you sandwich..." He says continuing to eat it lovingly.
