"Sir Macsen." Saad ng tauhan ko ng makapasok sa opisina.

"Hmm?" Tiningnan ko lang siya tsaka niya inabot ang hawak niya.

"That's the documents that we have Sir."

"Thankyou, you may go."

Tumungo lang siya saglit at umalis na din. Naiwan akong tahimik dito sa opisina tsaka ko binuklat ang isang documents na binigay niya.

As a businessman, you ought to and will constantly verify the credentials and customer reviews of your rivals. While it's not necessary for every business to do so, I myself constantly research my competitors to see where my own businesses fall short and how I can fill those gaps.

And one of that is my enemy slash competitor Damon Camazotz Dela Merced.

Based on this background document he's one of the Elites here in the Philippines but so do I. Alam ko na ito pero I make myself simple as much as possible because I want to live like a normal person.

It is the owner's history that I observed, and I mean, he has a meaning to his name, but then again, most of us do. The Greek mythological name Damon means "to tame." Camazotz is an Old Mayan name that means "death bat." His surname Dela Merced which is common here in PH Philippines not the other term (P***H**). Kilala din siya bilang isang cold at playboy na lalaki kaya hindi na ako magtataka na ganon ang quote niya sa buhay.

I don't want to talk about the significance of my name, albeit it does. Naturally, the owner's background makes up the majority of the information in these documents, with the remainder representing the company's background.

Magkalaban na ang pamilya ko at ng Dela Merced since noong nabubuhay pa ang great grandparents namin. Sadyang kahit alam ko ang ibang negosyo ni damon kailangan ko pa din itong suriin at malaman ang ibang detalye. "Sir."

"Yes?" Tanong ko. Hindi pa kase ako tapos basahin lahat ng nasa documents.

"We have an urgent meeting today sir."

"What? With who?"

"With the shareholders sir."

"Okay tell them that I'm on my way."

"Okay sir."

Tsaka ko na tatapusin ang pagbabasa nito at pupuntahan ko na ang meeting. Tungkol na naman siguro ito sa ratings at kita ng kumpanya.

Habang naglalakad ako papunta ng elevator kada baba ko sa isang floor ay hindi ko alam kung bakit lahat sila ay laging tumititig sa akin.

Siguro nagagandahan sila sa formal na suot ko araw-araw.

Syempre kailangan laging balanse ang pera ng Company namin dahil marami kaming kakompitensya tulad nalang ni Damon.

Pareho kaming nagfranchise sa brand ng isang clothing line. Isa na doon ay ang kanilang pag-aari. Ang Versace samantalang ang sa akin naman ay kilala na din ng lahat which is Prada.
