Authors note:

Heyyy, so, this is my first story, I really hope you enjoy it. BTW, if you are wondering why my book might me a little juvenile/immature (i dunno if it comes off that way, but just in case), it is probably because i am only 13. XDDD Well, keep reading! \o/ BTW, I dedicated this to Fallzswimer, I love her books.

Welcome to high school. Where you get bullied, where you are pushed around, humiliated and hurt. Sounds like fun? It's not. Well, high school isn't all that bad. You have that 1 day throughout your 4 years that will just be the best day of your life. Freaks like me didn't have those days, and populars had them just about everyday.

How would you describe Lake Monroe High School? Like any other high school, it's got your cliques. You have the populars, which consist of the douchebag jocks - who took pride in getting laid most probably on a nightly basis and the perfect girls - who caked makeup on and went to school dressed in clothes that barely covered their bodies. Then you had the nerds, which were, of course, nerds and geeks. They had their nerd glasses, and most had braces. They cared more about the red ink on the top of the test paper than their clothing style. You had the arts, which were the drama queens, who memorised plays and reenacted them. There were the artsies who painted or drew on any surface you could find, and then the musicians, who sang and played 1001 different instruments. Then you had the goths, and the emos who wore all black, all the time. The list goes on, but I think you get the idea.

Where do I fit, though? I fit nowwhere in particular. You could say I'm a cross between a nerd and a freak. I had the glasses but no braces (thank god!) and I was smart. But I was considered a freak because I was too smart. I was junior year, but I was done with AP Bio, AP Chem and AP Math. It was only a matter off time before I finished AP Physics. They all seemed so easy to me. They fit, and it all worked out. High school could accept that right?

No. No, no, no. I was constantly bullied by, well, everyone. Even the nerds didn't like me because I was 'too smart' for them. I only had one friend, Jenna, and she was a cross between a music freak and a goth. Lose the black makeup, keep the 85% black clothing, and you got her.

So, does high school seem fun?

-----------

So this is a basic introduction to the story, sort of like an outline to what the school is like, what she is like, her best friend etc. etc. It isn't very insteresting, but it was inspired by Why I Hate Blue Slushies introduction.

I've never been to high school, I mean, I live in SIngapore, the entire education system is different, plus I'm only 13, so if I were to follow the American education system, I'd only be grade 7 in middle school. If anything is inaccurate, feel free to tell me :)

TILL NEXT TIME MY ARMY OF SUSHIES (that's what I call you guys :p)
