As soon as Y/n reached home, her head started aching really bad. Everything started to get blurry around her and she fell on the ground unconscious.
She woke up the next morning, "Arrgh my head" Y/n said in pain
She looked around and found herself in Niki's room. He was laying beside her and woke up as he sensed Y/n fidgeting.
"What am I doing in your room?" she made a face, waiting for an answer
"Your room was locked so I had to keep you in my room" Niki said in a sleepy tone while sitting straight.
Y/n: "You could have left me in Mrs. Nishimura's room"
Niki: "Like , you had burning fever so I had to keep you by my side"
Y/n: "I had fever?"
Niki: "Do you think I would like to keep a girl on my bed for a night. I couldn't compromise to sleep anywhere else than my bed so I had to sleep here."
" But st-" She opened her mouth to talk
" You're safe, nothing happened between us and everything's fine" Niki got up the bed
"But why would you do this?" Y/n said
"What?"
" THis"
" Because you're my friend" Niki said
" HuH?"
" Because you're my friend" Niki repeated
"Me.......Your friend" Y/n said
"Yeah"
" Since when?" Y/n said
" We were always friends" Niki said
Y/n got up the bed
" We were?" Y/n said "No cuz you never treated me like one" she added
"I can now..... treat you as a friend" Niki said, raising his eyebrows and then he turned back
"Yeah whatever" Y/n said and opened the door
Both of them went downstairs and Y/n made breakfast for both of them.
" How's it?" Y/n said
" How do you expect me to react like?" Niki said not showing much of a reaction
"Like... Something, say something about it. Do you like it or not?" Y/n said
"Well it satisfied my hunger" Niki said while he was busy eating
"And....." Y/n said anticipating a positive comment
"Yeah that's all" Niki said
"Yeah Yeah what did I expect from you" Y/n said
"Oh noo I have to go to school" Y/n said
"Well you're lucky to go to one. I got homeschooled. It sucked" Niki said
"It's my last day at school today." Y/n said
Y/n then recalled the incident which happened to her last time while coming back from school.
"Umm..... Since we're friends now....... Drop me to my school." Y/n said
"I'm your friend not your boyfriend" Niki said while eating his breakfast
"Please...... It's my last day....... Ok I'll treat you today." Y/n said
"Only if you treat me....." Niki said
He then raised his eyebrows with a shine in his eyes "I've got my bike"
He dropped her to her school by his bike and wore a mask for he couldn't just roam around freely without being recognized. He didn't want to go through the same thing which happened to him before.
He later gave in and picked her up after school after Y/n begged and insisted for him to pick her up after school. Both of them visited Mrs. Nishimura at the hospital after picking Y/n up. She was really glad to see both Y/n and Niki become friends again.
Mrs. Nishimura was better than before. She would be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. The nurse told them that they could go now if they wanted because Mrs. Nishimura would be resting now.
Niki drove them and stopped infront of a cafe. He turned back as Y/n kept sitting on the backseat, confused why they stopped there.
"You had to treat me" Niki said while turning to Y/n
" Oh well........" Y/n said
Niki happily entered into the cafe and already started to order whatever he could. Y/n rushed after him making sure he doesn't order much .
" So.... How long are you going to stay here for?" Niki said while taking a seat
" Well.... I have a flight on Monday so.... it's 6 days later. I'll be going back to my parents after I complete my studies from here" Y/n said walking carefully bringing the stuff Niki had ordered.
"Hey! Lend a hand , they are gonna fall from my grip then you're gonna yell at me..... And you?" Y/n asked him as he took a seat .
"It's the same with me I have to return back by Monday. I asked a special permission from my company so I have to go back around a week later" Niki said while helping Y/n getting his stuff off her hands.
Niki took all his stuff and started eating it one by one. Y/n watched him eating.
" You should have manners and always ask the other person if they want some." Y/n said, fixing her eyes to the food
Niki: "What do you want?"
" Lemme try the carbonara." Y/n said
"Well that was quick" Niki scoffed "and my response to that is 'No'" he smiled
" So mean of you" Y/n squinted her eyes at him and got up from there
" Ok fine..... Just one spoon" Niki said
She started going outside
" Waitt!!! " Niki said
Y/n came back giggling
"UUGGGHH I'll order one" Niki said
"Your welcome" Y/n said while taking a seat .
After both of them were done, they went outside and took a stroll around the same bridge as of before.
" So.... You and I have a week before we go back . Mrs. Nishimura is going to get discharged tomorrow. Let's go somewhere fun tomorrow. Nami's going to return back tomorrow too."
"I bet Nami's not going to come, she must be tired from the trip." Niki said
"Mrs. Nishimura is still weak to go with us" Y/n sighed
They started returning back as it was late when Niki stopped and hesitated to say something. Y/n stopped and turned to him.
" What's the matter?" Y/n asked
