Hogwarts. The fantasy we all dream about. And guess what I'm starting this year. According to the letter I reserved at least. It says: "Since you have no guardian to get you prepared I have sent the gatekeeper of Hogwarts to help you get your items required for this year. He will also help you get to the Hogwarts train at the correct time. Also to make you aware the gatekeeper will be assisting another individual. Sincerely Professor Mcgonagall." I still can't wrap my mind around the concept that magic exists.
The next day I am still mentally preparing myself to see someone else. I mean it is pretty hard to see anyone when your last family member dies. My social skills are not the best since I had no-one to take me outside- *knock knock*. I froze. Okay I looked presentable. I opened the door. "Are you Red?" asked a very tall man with a poor accent.
"Yes, that is me. Are you the gatekeeper that was mentioned in my letter?" I asked, trying not to sound rude. "Yes, and I suppose you know that we need to collect another wizard?" The gatekeeper asked.
"Yes it was said in my letter .''
''Well unfortunately we need to go to a lighthouse out in the sea," He said. We set off to the sea. When we reached the ocean he rented a boat to row to ,what looked like an abandoned Lighthouse might I add, the person the gatekeeper was also meant to help.
"Ya might want to stand back." He said. Then he knocked down the door accidentally.
"Sorry 'bout that." and he put the door back after I walked in. Two adults, one with a gun. And I started to panic but the gatekeeper bent the gun upwards. I noticed the presents of two boys, one fat and one rather skinny. The gate keeper was talking to the fat boy. And I spotted the thinner boy and waved. Guess what? He waved back. Then the gatekeeper saw the skinny boy and realised that he was the person he came for. The gatekeeper explained to the boy that he was a wizard. His name was Harry. The two adults from earlier said something that angered the gatekeeper "No-one ever insults Albus Dumbledore in front of me and gets away with it!" He shouted, pointing his umbrella at the fat boy from earlier and a light shot from it landing right on the boy's bottom. Seconds later a small pigs tale formed on the spot where the light landed. The fat boy ran around holding his bottom and ran up the stairs. The adults ran up with him." Come on then Harry unless you want to stay with them?" The gatekeeper asked, who's name I learned was Hagrid. Now me, Harry and Hagrid rowed the boat back to the land.
Somehow we had gotten to London. "How exactly are we going to find the items on the list in London?" asked Harry.
"You just need to know the right place to look," Hagrid answered. Then he led us to a pub called 'The Leaky Cauldron'. A man behind the counter said "The usual Hagrid?"
"No, I'm here on official Hogwarts business trying to help two new Hogwarts students," Hagrid said, standing proudly. "Oh my it's Harry Potter", The bartender said and everyone stopped what they were doing to look at Harry. Everyone shook his hand then Hagrid saw someone " Harry and Y/N this is Professor Quirrell your defence against the dark arts teacher", Hagrid said showing us to a man with a turban on his head.
"Y-y-es u-m hel-lo n-n-ice t-t-o me-et you", The man said. Wow, that was a lot of stuttering. After that encounter Hagrid led us out back. He taped on the bricks of a brick wall in a pattern and the wall opened? Then it revealed an alley that had shops to do with...MAGIC!!!
