Icekit sat down in the back of the crowd his head down next to his brother and sister. " we have won sunning rock back but we have lost a queen from an attack from a badger Sandfur has gone to join starclan while we were at the battle" she said sadly. After the meeting was over Rainstar padded over to the three kits "your father... He served your clan well.. I'm afraid your father, died in the battle" she paused and looked at the three kits expressions "but he fought like all of Thunderclan" she finished. "We lost our mom AND our dad?..." Sandkit said shakily. Blazekit, icekit and Sandkit were all very shocked. "Cloudfur get these kits some poppyseed for their shock, they need to rest" she said. Cloudfur took the kits in and found them a queen to look after them."Nightfur, could you take care of these three? I know your sister would appreciate it" she said to Nightfur "it would be an honor to take care of my sisters kits" she said "come here kits" she said sweetly as the three kits padded over to her." Thank you Nightfur" Cloudfur said as she walked out the bramble wall. "Your mother was very brave" Nightfur said, Icekit walked over to the best that they used to lay in and laid in it.

"All cats old enough to arch their own prey join here beneath Highrocks for a clan meeting" Rainstar said "we have kits that have into be named apprentices " she paused and looked at the three kits "Sandkit, until you have earned your warrior name you will be called Sandpaw" she said "Blazekit you will be Blazepaw" she paused and looked at Icekit "Icekit....you will be known as Icepaw" she said as Icepaw dipped his head in happiness. "We're apprentices" he said in his head "Sandpaw your mentor will be Breezefur" she continued "Blazepaw your mentor will be Swiftclaw" she looked at Icepaw proudly "Icepaw your mentor will be Stormclaw" she said. The clan started cheering out their names. Rainstar jumped down from Highrocks and went into her den. Sandpaw, Blazepaw and Icepaw went Into the apprentices den laying down in their new nests. "Congrasulations you three!" Their friend from the nursery said "thanks Berrypaw!" Sandpaw said. "Get a good night sleep so you can go train tomorrow" Patchpaw said. A warrior walked in from the clearing " you better get some sleep, training starts early tomorrow" he said as he walked back. The apprentices settled in their nests and fell asleep, Icepaw looked at the stars"goodnight mom and dad" he whispered.
The next day
"Wake up Blazepaw, Sandpaw wake up!" Icepaw said "training is going to start!" He said as they sprang up to their paws and ran out to the clearing and to their mentors. "Hello Icepaw " Stormclaw meowed "hello Stormclaw" he said back. "I'm going to show you the hunting crouch" he said as he got down to the ground and putting his tail down, belly pressed to the ground. He got up and flicked his ear telling him to try it, he got down to the ground and held his tail down and his belly to the ground, he got up.
Later
The apprentices went into the apprentices den and nuzzled into theme nests and fell asleep. "I'm an apprentice" Icepaw said
