Chapter 2:Dodge ball

6months back.

We are here for our first PE class.
First class in high school, which was held after a month since there was no teacher for the subject and I was happy.

All I am praying for is to not get hit by the ball in my face or landing straight on my face, no matter where I get hit not my face I cannot,
Absolutely cannot bear that pain.

We are now playing dodge ball and are divided into 2 different teams Tae and I were on the same team I am thankful, not because he is going to be a great person not letting the ball come my way,

He is good at it and if he is in the opposite team it would be difficult for me.

I don't know any students I am not an introvert but I sometimes feel awkward starting a conversation and just like middle school once again I received a lot of glares for hanging out with Taehyung.

The game starts and everyone is catching the ball throwing and cheering.

Me?

I was just running behind Tae to protect myself from the ball,

But he suddenly ran too fast making me wonder what's up so I stand in my place to see what's happening when a ball directed straight to my face was approaching not knowing what to do I stand still with my eyes closed and wait for the impact...
I didn't feel a thing so I open my eyes..

I see a handsome boy standing in front of me, Tall, Raven hair, doe eyes, thin lips he looks great soo heroic, the way his hair moved when he jumped in front of me he was just glorious.

That's how I found my first love.

"You okay there." He asks me.

"The best I've been." I reply still in my daze and he looks at me with a weird expression.

The class ends and all the students go to the changing room to get changed.

Ughhhh I have to wait for another fifteen minutes to tell Tae about my first love,I thought.

Tae and I have been best friends since we were on elementary school, Tae refused to play with anyone but me so here we are together in high school.

"Hey? Y/n right?" A girl approaches me.

"Y--yes I am." I Sutter not because I was afraid to talk to her it's just because I was thinking about Jungkook and I was startled when she called me.

"I've been calling you for the last 5 minutes are you sure you're not hurt you want me to take you to the nurse's office."

I look at the girl who was suddenly showing interest in me, and the first thing I see is..

She is tall, really tall.

"No I am perfectly fine why do you ask."

"I am so sorry I almost hit you with the ball, if not for the president you would have been hurt."

Ooo so he is the class president..

Soft.
Saviour.
Totally my type...

"That's what the game is about so it's okay." If she hadn't hit me I would have never fond my first love whose name I'll find out ASAP.

Also this girl has been so sweet she apologized to me so I decided it was good to have a friend other than Tae.

"I've never seen you in class, what's your name?"I ask her trying all the ways that I've learned since kindergarten..
How to befriend someone.

"Yes I actually don't interact with others that much..
My name is Yuna."

"Same, I am not confident in approaching people...
We could be friends." I almost cross my fingers hoping not to get rejected.

"Surely we can, now lets change we have history next and I wouldn't want ma'am to punish us for coming late."

We get changed and leave the room together, somehow I am quite comfortable with her, I am really bad at interacting with people, especially after the kind of response I've received, Tae has been my only friend since I was a kid..

We walk to our class together..

"Hey what took you so long.." Tae asked not noticing Yuna who was standing beside me.

"What do you mean? I was changing and yess this is Yuna, my new friend." I introduce Yuna to Tae.

"Your friend? Whatever, now listen the teacher has decided to assign us specific seats in class, I'll plan something out so that both of us could sit together okay." Tae knows that I am not that comfortable with everyone..

"What's up with changing seats all of a sudden?" Yuna asks.

"It's according to our grades!" Tae almost screams at that..

According to our grades? How exactly, is it going to be students with good and bad grades sitting together or according to our ranks..

I hope that it's the first case since that's the only way we get to sit together.

"All the students pay attention here, I want you to line up according to your ranks."The teaches announces.

"Shit! We might have to sit separately."

"Yuna what was your rank?" I ask her ignoring Tae who was adamant on embarrassing me in front of the new and very first girl friend that I made.

"It was 45" she said making me look at Tae.

"You've found your partner already." I tell him, to be honest I was jealous that both of my friends are sitting together, I wanted to sit with Tae or Yuna but instead they will be sitting together.

"I thought you were good at studies." Tae told Yuna a bit rudely.

"I am atleast better than you, you're literally at the bottom." Yuna's come back..
I feel bad for Tae now.

"How do you know my rank are you stalking me?" He asks bringing back his cocky self, he is so different when he is around me and a completely different self when he speaks to other girls, but I can totally understand him the way girls behave in front of him they do their everything to gain his attention..

I would do the same if I were in his place keeping aside the fact that no one tries to gain my attention.

"You're right after me and if I look at the rank list, how can I miss the name of the student who ranked 46 among 46 students, that's an impressive rank." She mocks Tae basically telling him to get over himself.

"Your ranked 45 among 46 students congratulations that's impressive." Tae mockingly imitates her.

Yuna looks like she is going to throw hands at Tae any moment.

"Let's join the line guys, I don't even know whom I'll be sitting with."

"Let's go and maybe she is sitting with 44 and I'll be sitting alone Tae said as he pulls me by my arm to walk ahead.

"You're proving you deserve the rank, if you pair the numbers 45 goes with 46...
But I hope what you said happens." Yuna said and Tae who definitely lost the argument ignores her pulling me further away.
