^Harper at six months old ^

Masons POV  ~ 23rd December 2017

It's two days before Christmas but I got the best pressing ever already. I couldn't believe how amazing this was, and it truly would put everything into perspective. I loved my little girl so much, and my whole family loved her to. She has made me more responsible and has changed me for the better, and I am so grateful for that.

Declan's has been round a few times, as he is the only one who knows she exists. He lives in West Ham, but comes over to visit whenever he can and Harper adores him. She always cries when he has to leave, but I think she knows that he'll come back soon.

My mum has been so kind to me since Harper was born, and even before that. She was surprised when I told her that I was having a kid, at the age of eighteen, but has come to terms with it and helps me look after her. She usually takes care of Harper when I'm at training, but I make sure to always come home ASAP whenever I can.

Thomas Tuchel - Chelsea manager - knows about her, and has promised to not tell anyone about her. No one at Chelsea knows about her, even my good friend Tammy, and I want to keep it that way so the start of her life is normal. I also don't want all the boys looking down on me, but that's a different matter.

Now today I didn't have to go to training, as we have five days off around the Christmas period. I was downstairs with Harper, just chilling and watching a bit of friends. I am a organised person so while everyone else is doing Christmas shopping, I did mine weeks ago.

Harper was sitting on my lap, babbling to herself. When all of a sudden she said her first word. Dada. I jumper for joy, and lifted her into the air. My baby girl was growing up, and I couldn't do anything about it.

"Mum, come to the living room. Quick."

"Coming darling." I could hear her yell from her bedroom.

She walked down the stairs and into the living room, so I decided to try and make her talk again.

"Harper come on. Tell nana what you just called dada."

"Dada." She screened in delight, and my mum ran over to give her a hug.

I couldn't believe how far me and Harper had come, in such a short amount of time.
