chapter 5

I was about to leave when I hear myself called
"Ale wait!"  I turn around and find Kai in front of me
"Hey Kai, tell me"
"But ... Do you have something to do now?"  Are you inviting me on a date?  No, it can't be we've only known each other for 2 days
"No, I'm free why?"
"Would you like me if I take you somewhere?"  Ok ... Yeah he's inviting me out
"Yes, of course" said that he smiles and takes me by the hand: I look at our hands and I smile too.  We move towards his car and leave, there is a lot of tension but I try to break the glacier
"Where are you taking me?"
"I can't tell you. It's a surprise."
"No come on, you can't do this to me. I hate surprises"
yes definitely, I have bad memories and being under pressure makes me anxious and then maybe I have a thousand fantasies about nothing
"I won't tell you anyway, you'll see it when we get there"
"And how long are we missing?"
"But don't you get tired of asking questions?"  "No, I'm a very curious girl" I say with a smile as a child,;  he looks at me for a second and smiles too, shaking his head in denial.
After a few minutes we arrive in a fenced yard with a building similar to a hut;  we go down and he takes me by the hand again, his gaze falls on our intertwined fingers: I still have to get used to all this if it will continue.  We enter the building and I realize where he took me: to a skating rink.  I turn to Kai looking for something to 'save me' from this situation but he looks back laughing 'sisi laugh until you have to bear me not to fall';  let's take the skates, I am a 38 that I realize that I am a bit big, he a 43 that is right for him;  the first to enter the track is he who takes a lap in 3 seconds and comes back in front of me and I, in all this, I was still trying to fasten my skates, I hear him laugh and then he approaches, he gets down on his knees as if did not have skates and laces them to me
"Princess grant me the honor of skating with me?"
he adds when he stands up and holds out his hand to me
"With great pleasure if you only knew how they work"
I say smiling a little embarrassed, I see him open his eyes wide for a second and then he begins to laugh out loud by making some skating people turn;  after a few minutes he looks at me and tells me
"How can you not know how to skate" "Simple, they never took me there and I never learned" I say shrugging my shoulders
"What an honor I was given then"
"Oh yes, the honor of seeing how I will break some limbs has also been granted to you"
and we laugh.  After a few seconds to convince me he takes me by the hand and helps me to get up, which is quite difficult for me, then he shows me how to go on and helps me to take a few steps: I must say that it is not very difficult and then with a teacher so when he comes back to me, I must say that it is not easy to stay focused especially when there are visual contacts, where his eyes completely kidnap me.  After 5 minutes I had become modestly good and for a moment of Kai's distraction I walked past;  and just as I was continuing to brag about how good I had become, I stumble carrying all my weight back and closing my eyes by instinct, but my lower back never touched the ground because Kai grabbed my hips and pulled me close to him: we were patrically attached;  I felt his breath on his neck and I could no longer hold this situation from one embarrassing side.
"What were you saying about being good? No you know I wasn't feeling" he says laughing and joking about my lack of athleticism.
"Sisi laugh that in the meantime I'm still ahead of you"
I say laughing and not thinking about the contact that just took place and that has destabilized me a bit, then we resumed skating and joking.
