It was a nice summer day, owly and ratchet were happy with eachother. Ratchet didn't mind now the children visiting the base everyday for the summer. He finally got used to his mate being who she is, she was free to be herself around the bots.

"Imma go on the roof, i need some time alone." Owly went on the top of the base and transformed into a giant owl. She was a beautiful tan color with black spots.

I looked at the sunset, it was magnificent. What i wanted was to fly around and feel the breeze on my wings. I couldn't, because no one taught me how, and i was scared to learn myself.

"I thought owls are supposed to fly"I got startled by ratchet coming.

"Hey, you scared me." I gave a fake smile.

"Why aren'tyou flying, shaking the stress off." I had to tell him.

"I can't, no one taught me how, and i got scared to learn myself." I bowed my head in shame.

"I'll teach you." I got shocked at what i heared. An autobot who can't fly wants to teach me how to fly?

"But you're an autobot, you can't fly. How can you teach me?" He gave me a smile.

"Even though i can't, it doesn't mean i can't teach you. Just spread your wings." I did what he told me.

"Now move them up and down in a rythm. Just concentrate." I closed my eyes and tried to do it. I only managed to get 3 inches off the ground.

"(Pant.pant.)I can't ratchet, i just can't." He narrowed his optics.

"I won't have quitter talk. Try again." I tried 36 times. It was usless, i will never fly.

"IT'S POINTLESS. I WILL NEVER FLY!" A tear fell from my eye. Before i knew it, i heard something breaking.

"AAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!" I was falling to my doom. Ratchet was just standing there.

"YOU CAN DO THIS, JUST FLAP YOUR WINGS AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!" that was all i heared from him. I had to try, i used what i failed to do, before i knew it, i was up in the sky.

"Ha..hahahahaha. I'm flying!" It felt so good to be in the air. I landed on the roof of the base.

"All you needed was a push." He had a smirk on his face.

"You knew?" He chukled a little.

"Of course i knew, why else would you come up here in this form and not fly. I had arcee sabotage there where you're standing." My heart raced, knowing that my mate had done this for me.

"Thank you, i wouldn't be able to fly if it weren't for you." One of my problems was solved. I still didn't know how to screech like an owl. I knew how to hoot, that is easy. I will eventually learn someday.
