A yawn broke the silence as the trio started to get up, "Morning Yuuji! I hope Me and Sukuna didn't wake you up." Gojo smiled, not noticing a trail of dried blood on his neck. "Oh...I was asleep, so that's fine. Since when did Gumi' come in here?" A soft huff came from Sukuna, "Someone decided to go feral, and I kicked him out. There, end of story brat." The young alpha made an 'o' shape with his mouth and looked at the mess the adults were in. "Is that why there's blood on Sensei's neck?" Gojo groaned, "I thought I cleaned everything up!" Sukuna laughed and ruffled Yuuji's hair, "Oh yeah, he got me good too." He pulled down the collar of his shirt that earned a gasp from Yuuji, "Sensei, why would you do that?!" The man in question rolled his eyes, "It's an omega thing."

Nobara was the second to wake up, "Can you guys shut the hell up? Some people need their beauty sleep. You assholes aren't helping!" She shoved a pillow over her head, "Well if you wouldn't quit hogging the blankets then maybe I would've felt sorry, but I don't care." Yuuji stated. "Now Yuuji, be nice! Today is a new day with new beginnings and some candy!" Megumi let out a growl, "Can you guys shut the fuck up? I'm trying to sleep!" Gojo laughed, "Fine, you win." Nobara grumbled and went back to sleep, as well as Megumi. "It looks like I'm the only one up Gojo!" Yuuji hopped up from the floor, "Indeed you are! On a real note, are you hungry?" The other nodded, "I forgot to eat yesterday, so yes!" Sukuna whacked him, "You idiot I told you to eat something!" "I forgot!" Gojo listened to the two argue as he prepared breakfast. Yuuji spoke up after a while, "Is Gumi' okay?" The older omega smiled softly, "He will be. He has to take his time to get used to finally having a family." He smiled at Yuuji's expression, "Is that why he stayed in your room last night?" Sukuna sighed, "Yes brat, stop asking questions. It's nine in the morning." Gojo snickered.

Yuuji grumbled but stayed quiet while the sizzling of bacon filled the silence. Sukuna ruffled the boy's hair one last time and took it upon himself to help Gojo finish the rest of breakfast. "Do you have a mission this week?" The curse user hummed, "Yeah. Probably to seek out what's been going on at that temple Nanami was talking about. I expect you, kids, to at least not make too big of a mess while I'm gone!" Gojo glared at Sukuna for a split second and set the table. The alpha rolled his eyes and made his way to the couch, "Oi brats, sorry but it's time to eat." They groaned and eventually got up and went to the table, "Thanks." They dug in.

After breakfast was over, the trio walked off to the training room while Gojo and Sukuna finished putting the dishes away. "I think this break is good for the kids. They are acting the way teenagers should." Gojo stated. "It was my idea, after all, don't get ahead of yourself." Sukuna chuckled. Finishing the last plate, Gojo finally had some peace to himself as well as Sukuna did, "Well, now that we're alone. What do you wanna do?" The alpha hummed and smirked, "I think I know what we can do." The omega huffed, "Nope. You did this last time, and I couldn't walk for a week." Sukuna let out a laugh, "You were the one who insisted we take things to the next level. So don't come at me saying that shit." Gojo glared at him and let out a snarl, "Fine then, let's do it outside then." The other man continued to laugh while they got ready, "You know I'm gonna win this fight. So, I'd stop laughing if I were you." "Oh, I see that god complex coming out again. Time to beat it out of you." The white-haired man snickered, "Oh it's on."

Later that afternoon

The kids were panting after fighting with the second years. Somehow, Gojo and Sukuna showed up and started destroying each other. It was normal for the poor first years. "I wonder where Sensei is assigned to this week. I heard him talking about it with Sukuna in the kitchen." Nobara stated. Megumi looked at her like she grew two heads, "Are you sure? I thought he was using his sick days to spend time with us this weekend." "Uh, no? Dude you were awake when they were talking about it, I don't understand how you couldn't have heard it. You know how loud they can get!" Itadori grumbled, "tell me about it. When Sukuna was still in my soul, he was loud and annoying. Now he is that but in his own body. They both are the definition of loud..." The omega winced, "So he is for sure leaving? How long do you think it'll be? When will he for sure be leaving?" Nobara sighed and dragged her distressed friend into her arms and let out a soft purr, "Stop working yourself up, you know he will be back in no time. Just ask him yourself. You reek of separation anxiety with the tall idiot." The other blushed while Itadori laughed, "She has a point Gumi', You have to just ask him instead of waiting it out. If you wait it out it'll all go to shit, trust me, I know..." Megumi let out a small chuckle, "okay I get it, talk to Gojo and ask why or if he is for sure leaving. Well, after he and Sukuna get done ripping each other apart that is." They all stared at their beloved teacher ripping his mate to shreds.

Megumi let out a sigh and went over to the chaos and all it took was him to look at Gojo, "Megumi! You know you shouldn't interfere with two very highly trained professionals when they're fighting! It can be very dangerous; you could've been hurt if I didn't see you!" Sukuna was right on Gojo's tail, adding in his own words of wisdom of how Megumi shouldn't get in between fights. "Okay! I get it! Sensei can we please talk somewhere private?" He stared into ocean-orbs pleadingly, "Of course, we can. Sukuna, take care of today's plans. I should be back before 5:30 or later if we don't take a small nap!"

Sukuna nodded and yelled orders at the other two first years, watching them run in the opposite direction he came from. Sukuna followed them in a slow walk. He was one of those teachers that don't assign homework, he thinks it's useless. He prefers a hands-on type of work. Anyways, all the playfulness in Gojo's features turned serious as he looked down into his pupil's eyes, "What's up Megumi? Is there something bothering you? Being blunt by the way, you reek of stress." The boy shuffled his shoe in the dirt and mumbled, "Is it true that your leaving?" The teacher let out a soft sigh, "What I've heard from the higher-ups, yes. I'll be gone for two weeks tops. I was going to tell you when things started to calm down but looks like nothing goes good anymore."

Gojo let out a small huff and pulled the young omega into his arms, "I hate it too, kiddo. Trust me I do." "But you just came back! I don't understand why as soon as you get off a mission you go off and leave again. It's not fair! Even you know that!" Megumi snarled. "Megumi, listen to me carefully. You know how the higher-ups are. I don't want to go but that's how it is living as a sorcerer. It hurts leaving again. Trust me." Gojo nuzzled into his hair scenting him, "It's whatever. I'm going back to training. Don't bother coming with me, you'll probably be gone before sundown." Megumi pulled himself away from the other and walked off to the other side of the training field, "Megumi, come on! I said I was sorry. I can't help it!" The older omega yelled. Megumi ignored him and continued to train.

What Megumi didn't realize was the distress scent that was coming from afar. It was the scent of a parent losing their pup.
