Recently I started a new job. it's a new business thats pretty popular, now that i think about it. it's been out a month maybe two and people already swarm in at opening and continue to throughout the day. it's exhausting but good money. can't say i hate it, but people make my head ache. but i stay for something. a this point in time I'm not sure what, but definitely something
today was super quiet. it caught me off guard frankly, this rarely happens. so i decided to take time to see the attractions. hoping no one would show up. I've been to most, except Monty golf.
to be honest Montgomery scared me at first. i didn't want to go near him. especially after we had to shut down his room due to him tearing up the entire thing.
however, I realized he's not that scary after a bit.
is it weird to say i actually want to be near him? a little? okay.
As i was saying earlier. I've never been to gator golf, so, i went today
I walked into the place and it's still quiet. and Monty is there, of course.
"oh hey y/n" Monty said, after he noticed me. "What are you doing here?"
"truthfully i wanted to see what is here. I've not been here for the whole time I've worked here. it's only been a few weeks, but still." I responded, looking around
Monty smiled at me. "Well I'm glad to have you here. you wanna play with me?"
     "I can?"
"well of course, i can't tell you no" Monty laughed at my question
"well okay. i haven't played golf" I laughed as well. maybe because i was anxious. He makes me anxious. why? i don't know.
"well first things first. get a club and ball." Monty pointed in the direction of the things i needed.
I did as told and he taught me. and god did i have a good time. I didn't do good at all, but i tried. and made a friend.

"y/n please just aim it in the right direction" i said, trying to not laugh at them.
    "okay. okay. i got it."
I watched them adjust their position and get it perfectly. this was the last one, we got through the whole thing. wow. time passed fast.
"great job! you said this was your first time?"
"well not first but i don't do this often." they smiled at me. i smiled back. they had a beautiful smile. "is that you on the stage?" they laughed at it
    "yes. and i look great."
    "you're right, you do"
I always noticed that they seemed to not want anything to do with me, which i get. a lot of kids are scared of me. hell I'm scared of me sometimes. but i do try. Their presence is nice though.
"so what do you plan on doing now?" I asked y/n
"i don't know. it's quiet today, not much to do. of course that could change. i guess we'll see." they said, walking over to return their items
"yeah probably will be back to normal soon"
I followed them to the return spot
"id be great if it was like this more" y/n looked towards me
"like me and you?" i said with a smirk
"no. well maybe? just being able to do stuff and not worry." y/n didn't seem to get the hint but that's fine.
"well make sure there isn't anything else you need to do."
i started to walk away. i wish they'd got the hint.
"We should do this again!" they shouted
     We should.
