Sue rushed us into La Push hospital and we were quickly shown into a room. The only ones in there were Jake, Sue, another nurse, and Dr.White. Jake was on my left side and Sue was on my right. The doctor was in front of me looking up my hospital gown that Sue had helped me into.
"Okay, she's 8 centimeters dilated, it won't be long now" Dr. White said soothingly. I gulped. Jake held my hand in his, and placed his other on the back of my neck. He pressed his lips to my temple as he squeezed my hand silently telling me that everything will be okay.
Seth and Embry were in the waiting room to greet my dad and Cora for when Leah and Jared got them here. Sue kept encouraging me to keep up my breathing when another sharp pain came causing me to let out yet another cry. Dr. White quickly rushed back and took another peak just as dad and Cora burst into the room.
Sue left my side to allow them by my side, and joined the other nurse in prepping for the babies. Dad quickly took my hand, and Cora was right at his side looking at me worriedly. "Mom and dad I assume?" Dr. White asked, dad and Cora opened their moths to explain, but I cut them off "Yes! Mom and dad!"
Cora and dad looked surprised before Cora's eyes softened. She reached over and held my hand with my dad. "Well get ready because you're about to be grandparents. She's now 10 centimeters dilated. Alex, honey, you need to keep your legs open and push with the contractions, alright?" I nodded and started squeezing Jake and dad's hands.
Another contraction arose as I started trying to push my babies out and I let out another painful scream.
~~~timeskip~~~ 5 hours and 52 minutes later I held both my baby girls in my arms. Sue dressed them into pure white onesies with creamy yellow blankets. Cora sat with me combing her hand threw my messy hair while Jake explained what happened at the beach to my dad on the other side of the room.
Dad started shaking with rage as he heatedly whispered something to Jake whose face once looked ticked off, but now was filled with absolute rage. Dad walked back over to us and kissed all four of our heads. "I'm sorry, but I have to get back to work. I'll be back here to drop off your overnight bag" with that he exited the room.
